I love the video though as was the first video in such a long time that not shot in a studio but had some outside scenes  - maybe since Hung Up and Sorry had a couple of outside scenes and before then What If Feels like for a Girl was probably the one before those that had something outside a studio in it.  Liked how it was shot with the summer light and liked the fans in the background running alongside the car.  
I do think the vocals are too pitched up and over processed and would have sounded a lot less shrill and better without having her voice altered so much  - I guess they thought it would make her sound younger and more carefree. On this clip - it has Turn Up The Radio with the vocals pitch shifted back down at about 30 seconds the before and after.
 

I don't think she will  - I think she is only interested in touring new material and throws in a few token back catalogue tracks  as a necessary thing to do to sell more tickets

Reinvention was definitely sparse in terms of props and staging. I think it was the first time when the video screens took over the  budget. I enjoyed the raw footage because it was a bit like the early madonna tours.
Some of the editing and angles in modern Madonna shows lose her magnetism. She owns the camera and the quick edits in modern tours don’t give you time to take her all in. Many favourite things about her early persona and presence we’re in the non choreographed moments. These days they’d cut to a dancer or a graphic and we lose those little moments.

I wish she found someone like her

Yeah, I think her biggest failing in the last 15 years was a desperate attempt to stay relevant when she just needed to be relevant in a different way. I honestly couldn't give a fuck if her singles chart - I just want a good album with great videos.
I think guy has definitely led her down a path that's contributed to her decline in the last few years. I see him very much as a "yes man" and I think Freddy may have been a little bit more combative and opinionated. But the dynamic shifted when she changed Management - Freddy was a hotshot who knew what he was doing and could guide and teach her, Guy was someone that she brought into her already established career - I don't see him as being the active Manager in that relationship... she does what she wants when she wants and there's no one to offer an alternative or, you know, Manage her.
A good Manager would have confiscated her mobile device a decade ago...

Considering that her 360° Live Nation deal is also supposed to control her image, I was wondering if many bad choices on IG were an intentional sabotage not to renew the contract. She's done it already: she took Amazing out of the DWT setlist because Warner wanted it as a single and included the Funny Song instead...
I also wonder if MX was released so late because she didn't want to tour sooner. I hope they allow her to release new musuc without having to tour. Another silence of three years would kill her position and her fandom too. To celebrate anniversaries properly wouldn't transform her in a legacy act.

We will end up with dodgy unflattering Instagram posts to keep her in the public eye for those 3+ years which will only damage her reputation even more with the GP, this will be a form of keeping her in the public eye  #NontraditionalPromo 

Madonna doesn't need to become a nostalgic act, we all know she would never do that. But remember when after American Life didn't go as planned? There was the VMA's, Re-Invention brought a hit-heavy setlist without crompromising the artistic heart of the album and it's message and right after she went full on disco diva and made yet another renaissance moment in her career.
Erotica to Bedtime/Something to Remember/Evita was another of those moments. One could argue that it was all on her, another could say that it was her management but after she left Warner we never got one of those...
We understand her need to focus on her family and so on, but the time between Hard Candy and MDNA was too much and she never recovered after that. The Superbowl was a very nice moment for her but they only used it to promote her tour and she disappeared again after. Madonna was out of the public eye since the 2006 Grammy/2007 Live Earth and minus the Superbowl in 2012 she only came back in 2015 and that performance happened.
There was no movie sondtrack between those projects as she used to do through the 90's that kept her on the spotlight and the music industry changed fast. Without trying to compare her to anybody but during 2008/2012 we saw dance pop music dominating the charts again with Gaga, Katy Perry, Rihanna and Beyoncé became bigger than they were and Madonna wasn't present.
They chose to focus on her touring, which is understandable, but they forgot that without a hit and the general public, as big as Madonna is, stadiums arenas will start to sell less, add to that her 2 plus hours late behavior in 2012/2015...
Even if her stubbornness is to blame for this a manager should be there to at least paint her the picture and try to meet halfway and we don't have any indication that Guy did that. All we hear is how he cut this and that for her plans because it costs money, how he tells her that her shows are too long and how he tries to make her sell stuff that after 2 months nobody remembers anymore

I like the idea of the song but thought the demo was better - love the verses but wish the chorus was stronger   - also there is a really obvious overdub on the album version where she has changed the lyrics from the demo and sounds like two different recording sessions- was surprised that was not picked up and fixed but think some of these changes to the demos were rushed through and done for the sake of making them different to what got leaked?
