Goodness! No, what a terrible mess that was. Only Madonna album I will never buy or listen to again.

5. True or False: Madonna will release a new album in the next two years. Possibly, the world is mad right now so she may come up with another American Life album (Yikes)

1. I wish she showed us her recording process more. Like how Truth or Dare but of her making an album!

I love "Drowned World and how Madonna reflects on her life and how she "substituted for love". it's her being raw, real and honest with her life ...and finding out what's important and what she really wants. When I first heard it, I wasn't sure I liked it, but, with more listens and after seeing the video I was hooked even more. Beautiful!

These are it really.
Hard Candy is the most faceless Madonna album of all time. Where is she? I just get nothing from her whatsoever.
Like A Virgin era was incredible. Add Into The Groove, Crazy For You and Gambler to that album and it's up there with her best. The album tracks just feel hollow somehow. I love Stay and Over & Over and Love Don't Live Here Anymore are worthy album tracks but Pretender and Shoo Be Doo are way to basic to prop up an album that contains Material Girl and Like A Virgin which were essentially gimmick songs to make noise and arrive. 
Dress You Up Material Girl Over & Over Into The Groove Angel Like A Virgin Crazy For You Gambler Stay Love Don't Live Here Anymore Is a perfect pop album that equals True Blue and the Debut.
 
MDNA is actually largley shit due to the production and the addition of songs like Superstar, The dreadful vocals and lack of life on Turn Up The Radio and the single choices. 
Even Gang Bang feels processed. When I heard Madonna screaming on Bitch I'm Madonna she sounded like REAL Madonna. Gang Bang feels like a rehearsal in comparison. At least Madonna is actual present on MDNA even if it was rushed. You can hear her anger, defiance, sorrow and even the the postmortem as it happens. Even the daft frivolous songs like Girl Gone Wild, GMAYL, TUTR and Superstar are the sounds of a recently divorced woman just calling her old friends up, squeezing into her pre marital party frocks and hitting the town smiling and laughing to the world but dying inside a bit. MDNA is her fake smile album but unfortunately the whole thing was delivered and represented poorly so the vibe didn't translate properly. That and the Gaga debacle. I think MDNA will be re viewed in years to come but apart form the Orbit tracks it's rather musicialy bereft. It's an awkward chaotic listen and the tracklist order is as horrendous as Rebel Hearts is...but there's some brilliant but slightly unrealised songs in there.
 
 

From the beggining too!, 1984 with the first album and Like a Virgin, listen to Holiday, watch Like a Virgin at MTV, etc, then i would go to the Virgin Tour and the Live Aid

I would of liked to of been old enough to have heard the first time Madonna charted in the UK with Holiday.
Also, I would love to of watched Like A Virgin being performed at MTV.

I would go back to her 90’s era. Seeing Erotica > Bedtime Stories > Ray of Light happening in real-time would be amazing, such strong moments in her career that happened during that decade.

The very first years. I am SO jealous that I never got to experience seeing Madonna taking over the world. I was born in 88 and only got interested in her in 1997. By that time, she was already the biggest star in the world. It's crazy to think that there was a time where Madonna was just some new artist with a couple of songs trying to make it. 

I wouldn't be mad at all if it happens to me what happened to Mikkel Nielsen lol.

I like Love Song, i dont skip it when i listen to the album, but, i think that being M & Prince, the song could have been a lot better and a great HIT too.
There are some things why i liked this song:
- I love when M speaks in french
- My favourite part of the song is when Madonna sings:
Don't try to tell me what your enemies taught you
I'm gone but I just want you to know
That this is not a love song that I want to sing
Because in that final part she had a different voice that i wish she had used in other songs
- The voice of M & Prince sounds fantastic together!

i know some dont like the two final tracks but it is one album i can listen from start to finish and feel like i have had fun. other albums provided the same feeling but this really takes me back to the 80s before i knew what other fans thought and just enjoyed Madonna for who she was. it was a fun era. social media tends to ruin the fun because everyone must weigh in (which is fine) but some just spoil what is purely fun.

I could say so much here, but, I just want to say thank you to Madonna for "the dance" in all of her talents and her every being.  I don't know what I'd do without her and her music in the fun and hard times. Although I don't always agree with her on some things, I love how she helps us all fight for what we believe in no matter what.

Which Madonna video, song or mix are you listening to "nonstop" right now?
This is something I do a lot. I can't help to just listen to one of her songs over and over again. Right now, it's the Confession's performance of "Jump"! It's just so good and has been a great dance start up to my current days. It helps to remind me to be accepting of things I can't control, to pace myself, and that I can and will find my way no matter what which I need currently.
