I appreciate what you are saying, and it's tricky for Rhino and M to please both fans and the general public - it's rare that anyone will listen to a 10minute remix these days - even I get bored lol.
We have also been very lucky over the years to have so many of her demo's shared online - it just goes to show there really wasn't anything left in the vault for ROL (hence the mash up of existing remixes to create something 'new') - and the official release of a demo widely circulated online.

Agreed. She’ll get more streams from casual fans with the shorter, edited versions. Most people are streaming their own playlists and a 10 minute mix, especially if it’s not even as part of a mixed DJ set, is too much for me even if I’m in a cardio trance at the gym. I wouldn’t be surprised if some or all of these tracks ended up being re-released to DJs only in original 12” or re-edited longer versions. I’m guessing that M and her people want club play this summer.

oh god why is everyone so touchy about age, I'm 150 years old, get over it. Fans will be fans no matter how old their idol is.
Music has always been targeted to the younger demographic as that's who's streaming, tik toking, you tubing and making things trend.
That's not to say an older artist cannot have a hit again - Kylie had a huge hit with Padam at 56, Kate Bush had a huge resurgence thanks to Stranger Things, as did Sophie Ellis Bextor thanks that movie.
Interestingly, maybe subconsciously from reading the reports, I was reflecting today, Belinda Carlise has a new album coming out, and a new single about heartbreak, I love it - but I was like, would someone 21 years old connect to a song sung by someone who is 66, old enough to be their grandma (and I don't mean that to sound agiest, just putting it into context).
My point is, music will connect to different people for different reasons no matter your age. Madonna is lucky, while her fan base is predominantly older, it's massive - re issue will sell as is the case with this, her music still sells, her arena's still sell out.
I also don't understand the point that there might be people on this forum who are 80 years old and still stanning - who cares, it's a moot point.

Since I release music myself, I can choose whether to release it at a specific global time or adjust for different time zones. This option is available through the distributor.

I'd take Popular on constant repeat while having my balls waxed 🤣...rather than have to listen to Vulgar (which I have never even managed to listen to fully) or watch or listen to Hung up on Tokisha (which made me want to cut my ears off & gouge my eyes out) 🤦

They won't be bad, Emily has come a long way with editing since her "Celebration"'s "Erotica" and "Cherish" days. The edits on the "American Life Mix Show" EP were good and the "Skin" remix edit is OK.
