ANYWAYS: I’m seeing Madonna in three days in Philly so yay to that. I really can’t say much about this lawsuit that already hasn’t been stated previously. The math ain’t mathing. These two queens already saw her three times before even making a big deal out of this just to sue for false advertisement a month later…wtf? I know so many fans want Madonna to be on time for her shows. And as great as that would be, its not happening. Get over it.

Wow! She takes my breath away in and out.  There is a softness to her in every way. So loving and thankful. I have no words. Just beautiful. I’m so soooo glad she’s still with us and her story is not over.   Thank God and the Angels indeed! Go Madonna! 🕊🕊🕊🙏🙏🙏💝💝💝🪩🪩🪩💃💃💃🌷🌹🌷🌷

2 years ago today. Fucking love this woman

It's my third time. Second time wasn't bad but this is awful. Thanks for the well wishes, I'll be fine! X 

She’s singing in Italian. She was playing around singing opera. I don’t specifically remember her singing that nor do I recognize what the music is. It was a very long time ago! It was a dress rehearsal. Lola came with the nanny to visit at one point, and Madonna didn’t know she was there…she walked on the train of Madonna’s dress and Madonna yanked on the fabric as she thought someone had stepped on the dress. When she turned around and realized what she’d done, she spent ten minutes hugging her. I remember being shocked because Madonna sat on the edge of the stage in full costume drinking a can of Coke. I was horrified! 😂 As for her vocals, I was mesmerized by how meticulously rehearsed she was. She would hear every little detail and stop the music if she thought something was off or needed attention. Her voice was in fine form, and she gave the impression that she was supremely confident. It was strange to see how nerves affected her voice that evening. Each rehearsal take she nailed the “Do you wanna go higher” with operatic command, and then there was the performance with those unfortunate high “r”s, and a sense of the notes being forced. But I can assure you, the woman had real pipes! I was truly gobsmacked by just how good she sounded.

Sorry to be practical, but is it wishful thinking that some keep positing that they think she will start her tour in London? Why London? Because it’s the start of the European leg? She lives in NY and has for some time. She also rehearsed the tour in NY. It makes more sense to me that she’d start there on August 23rd if her health issues resolve themselves quickly. 
 
It’s all Miss Cleo speculation on my part, but I think the dancers went home knowing they’d be getting a two week break back home, and then would be back in the States mid-July!
Also, to address the speculation regarding her wellness and lifestyle, there is literally nothing about Madonna’s trajectory that seems unusual to me. It would have been quite normal for her to use pain-fighting medication during the period surrounding her bionic upgrade surgeries on her hip and knee. Everyone does. She most likely has a private concierge doctor like the majority of wealthy people do, and so it would be easy for her to get her hands on any medication she wants, but Madonna is a proud and stable mother who has a holistic view on health and wellness. She is also from a family with a history of addiction issues, and so she would most probably be well versed in all matters pertaining to the psychology of addiction. This leads me to believe she isn’t going to destroy her health with longterm abuse of any substance.  As a result of her body aging, she has also clearly allowed herself over the last few years to relax a good deal more than she ever used to. If that means enjoying a drink or two and smoking a little ganja, who cares? I used cannabis to help me with insomnia after suffering a nervous breakdown several years ago. Now that I have stopped and have faced my issue differently, I am aware that it wasn’t a longterm solution. However, when you are faced with biological issues that you have no agency over  like pain or insomnia, you do what you can to get through it while you get to the root cause of the problem. That doesn’t mean that you throw all caution to the wind and become despondent with no self-awareness. I’m sure that Madonna has the right mindset to face whatever she needs to at any given time. Sometimes we just have to go easy on ourselves, and then we figure it all out. Keep the faith! Life is beautiful!

It’s unsurprising that what has transpired  most in the wake of this unfortunate news is that the general public’s response is another repulsive epic reflection of the times; most people seem able to muster a hint of empathy and compassion, but often with a dose of ageism and dismissal, as if this health crisis should encourage Madonna to pack it in once and for all. There’s also an overwhelming minority of people who are simply mentally ill as they revel in the notion that Madonna has been weakened significantly and therefore feel justified to engage in more vitriol and verbal violence. Madonna’s strength and tenacity have cemented her as a human punching bag; a symbolic sacrificial lamb for the neuroses of all those who see themselves aging and being cast aside by a capitalist society built on the exploitation of youth. 
 
While I understand that we are all hungry for news updates, let’s also be mindful that thus far these sources are just absurd articles and “news” clips filled with highly speculative tabloidism masked as “expertise” from doctors and presenters who don’t read their source material well enough to get even the basic facts straight. How can a doctor who knows nothing about Madonna’s condition make comments about the viability of her tour being canceled or significantly revised? 
 
All that said, to those who dismissed others in here for having a dramatic or selfish reaction, or for jumping to conclusions, can we also just accept that we are all human (and as human as our beloved icon) and we all love Madonna? Any reaction is okay because, as with grief, emotional shock gets processed in different ways. Guy Oseary’s statement was quite serious. The wording is open to interpretation, but in the past a Liz Rosenberg would have simply dismissed the rumors and said she had a health issue that was taken care of and that she is comfortably recovering. That is NOT what he chose to share, whether as a preemptive measure to contain the fallout of Page Six’ exploitative antics or as a way to cover up a more serious matter. At the end of the day, Guy is her manager. He has to assuage doubts and speculation as well as address and reassure the insurers, the venues, the tour staff, the fans and ticket buying public, the media, and the monstrously hateful social media set. One cannot help but speculate that this is either a very serious matter that will likely have significant professional fallout at a time when the pressure was very high on Madonna to deliver, or, as was suggested venomously by the awful Roger Friedman (and you can all send the hate my way for saying it and it isn’t my opinion…if you don’t get how devoted a Madonna fan I am by now then it really won’t matter to me if I get tarred and feathered), it is a way to garner more public sympathy for a public figure who hasn’t done much to endear herself to the masses in recent memory…and yes, at a time when she really needs those people to get onboard for a tour that is based around nostalgia. 
 
I love Madonna more than I can possibly express and want so badly for her to be in fine form as soon as possible. In complete transparency, I have just discovered that my own mother is really unwell and we all know how those of us who grew up with Madonna have a clear psychological transference of the maternal onto her, especially gay people who struggled to be accepted as children and adolescents. It’s all hitting hard and it’s a process to come to terms with the mortality of loved ones. I’m sure Madonna will be with us for a long time to come, but the reminder of the fragility of life is one we can all come around together in celebration of this extraordinary cultural and historical figure. 

I'm still reeling. Utterly gutted.
Moments like these remind you how fragile it all is - even our impenetrable, god-like stars. And she's the last true one left.
I can't even put into words what this woman means to me.
Tour or no tour. Who cares. She's done it all. The best of the best. It's DONE. The rest from here on out is nothing more than icing on the cake. I can't ask for any thing more...
Other than I just want her well and healthy, for her family, her babies, and us, for as long as possible.
Long live the one true Queen.
