That doesn’t matter. We are probably back to single re-releases because:
    a) the tour has been pushed back
    b) the album re-release is also pushed back
We have gotten other single re-release outside of the album's re-release.

The public /media usually fixate on a signature song. Like ‘Faith’ with George Michael, or Thriller. So with Madonna if it’s just a song I think it would be Material Girl.

it'll be the album that best represents her themes and brand most succinctly:

Female Expression Dismantling the patriarchy Mixing sexual & religious themes Brutal honesty and soul bearing The personal losses that affected her The ones that give a deeper understanding of drove her to be a star. Her ability to craft a simple joyful pop tune A willingness to change by making an artistic turn I'm favour of a commercial appeal. The ability to show multiple sides of herself and poke fun at herself.
    There's only one answer

    Like A Prayer

Ray Of Light couldn't exist without Like A Prayer really, and in truth it's not THAT deep. When you strip away the production the bones of the songs and not as strong in truth.
She rejects fame, has a spiritual awakening, becomes a mom, misses her mom.
The weight of everything happening on Like A Prayer and the themes it explored including not just in the music but the videos and the era, Female Empowerment, Misogyny, Institutional Racism, Divorce, Spousal Abuse, Grief, Childhood, Love, Family, Personal Reinvention, Hope,  Her corporate power considering how the Pepsi deal went. The only incidental song on Like A Prayer is Spanish Eyes. It's brilliant but It just doesn't fit the theme at all. Everything else makes sense.

Even when recently departed, our lady would HATE to be predictable, so I forecast that ALL Madonna music will be cancelled on streaming except for a brand new compilation album of superlative greatest hits, as especially curated by the lady Herself available to pre-order on Candy swirl vinyl and then rainbow vinyl a year after that and then virgin-white a year after that.

Get into the Candy Shop (Human nature mix)
    Human Nature (Candy shop mix)

I think people are mixing up Apple Music and iTunes Match. They are 2 totally different things.

Anyone who wants to stream their iTunes library in it's entirety should get iTunes Match which is $25 a year and lets you upload up to 100,000 songs to the cloud to stream on your devices and iTunes will also upgrade your LQ files to 256kbs iTunes Store files if they sell that file and they can match it.
iTunes Match can be pretty finicky with large libraries but it's worth it. I have all 92,000 songs in my music library and it's available to me at all times (wifi or cellular) including all my playlists.

@MPowered I have iTunes Match only (not Apple Music). I did not have this issue with LAP and LAP30 art being swapped, but I did have an issue where the MDNA tracks that were also on the MDNA: Nightlife Edition were grayed out MDNA proper and being skipped. I could only listen to them on Nightlife Edition.

What I had to do to fix it was delete both albums from my iTunes library on the computer. Update my iCloud library. Wait a bit, then re-add MDNA. Update iCloud library. Made sure tracks were working properly on my phone, then re-added MDNA: Nightlife Edition and updated my include library. This fixed the issue after trying a a couple of other things.

Another thing you can try is making sure your LAP album and LAP30 album do not have the same sorting info for Album. Turn on "Sort Album" and make sure nothing is listed. This will default to iTunes Match pulling the meta data using the Artist/Album and not any sorting info that has been added. I had downloaded something on here and whoever uploaded it had put "Madonna" under "Sort Album". This messed up the artwork on my Madonna album. When I would change the name to "First Album" it would show the proper artwork I had attached to the files, when I would change it back to Madonna it would show the wrong art. Once I erased Madonna from the sorting of the offending file, the artwork on my Madonna album started displaying correctly.

    Hopefully that made sense.

If the Celebration "remaster" turns out to be as bad as the 4 Minutes "4K remaster", then I don't want it:

By the way, I think it's obvious by now that Madonna's team is lazy or incompetent or both:
cheap promo for "Finally Enough Love" cheap, unimaginative design for "Celebration Tour" (The wannabe designer must have gone through all the effects in GIMP 2 and then discovered the warp effect...) pathetic products for the Anniversaries (Where are the Deluxe Editions? What am I supposed to do with an overpriced hologram album sleeve that doesn't even have a print on the back?) some "remastered" music videos on Madonna's YouTube channel *cought* 4 Minutes *cought* look like they were upscaled by a 3 dollar AI Upscale software from eBay. If that's the level, I could upscale all Madonna videos from SD to 4K in 3 days... (Also Madonna's label should have access to all ProRes masters, VOB masters and whatever. So it shouldn't be difficult for them to find a suitable source for a remaster.)

The possible reason why this is still in 240p and why it was uploaded at 240p was mainly due to the video being hyperlinked into the website especially since they (and many others) started to reformat their sites to be mobile compatible. I believe the video played automatically when you land to the site and running it in HD video using mobile data would be expensive and you'd have long loading times navigating through the website. The celebration banner was in their youtube page so they were promoting this heavily online.

I love Celebration (the song) as well.  I prefer the album version.  As for the video, I like it for what it is.  It seems fitting.  I agree the quality of it is atrocious though. But as some stated, it was a weird time where people were still transitioning from SD to HD.   If anything I'm more bothered that LAP video hasn't been upgraded yet.  One of her biggest and iconic videos and it's still in SD.  The same goes for LAV and Vogue while lesser known videos like Get Together and Cherish got treatment beforehand.
I'm one to think that the tour is actually somewhat in support for the Celebration compilation. After all, that is the last album both Madonna and Warner parted ways on.  Maybe it's wishful thinking, but I'm inclined to think that they could re-issue the compilation, possibly with a few more inclusions if not a new song or two.  It would make total sense to do so than rather do a whole new compilation at this time.  And it seems this is the Greatest Hits most go to, to listen to her biggest hits.

I've said it before but 2007-2008-2009 (even well into 2010) was a weird time for music videos and video formats in media, in general.
The TV standard was changing from years and years of SD to HD and Full HD and formats were mixed for some time and all kinds of a mess. Plus: music videos on YouTube didn't start to be in Full HD as a standard until 2010 - and only the new ones and not all of them. I remember well Christina Aguilera premiering her "Not Myself Tonight" video in 4:3 and 480p in 2010 and thinking WTF. Back then some people and artists were well into "the future" while others took more time to adjust.
There's no excuse for the "Celebration" video to be in that quality today. What probably happened back in 2009 was: the video was premiered on iTunes, if I remember well, as part of a promo deal. It was available for free on iTunes USA for a week I think. So Warner or whoever uploaded the video to Madonna's channel probably used the iTunes video or the low quality video they provided to iTunes and that was it. iTunes didn't have Full HD videos back then, quality was quite low.
They should update it soon, that's for sure. Funny thing it's her 20th most viewed official video on YouTube even with that potato quality!

Thanks for posting this and clarifying.  I don't believe anyone is saying there absolutely won't be any unreleased and/or demos.  Just some of us are clarifying nothing of such has been promised with the deal.  Personally, I agree that she should re-issue these expanded sets with something more than the original track listing. The problem I see is, so much of her demos/unreleased material are out there already, I can see meltdowns still happening because there might not be much more to put on these expanded sets that isn't already out there.  And like you pointed out, some of the unreleased songs that we know exist, she may not want to release them.  At the end of the day, we should respect the artist's decision.

There are no anniversaries left for May, so we could expect the next release to happen in June.
I think they might be preparing the anniversary edition of MADONNA for July, so we aren’t getting anything until then. That would perfectly link up with the start of the tour in July!

It can be simply laziness or Warner getting greedy when "Back That Up To The Beat" was released through Interscope and wanting their releases to appear always as latest...
    Or a bit or both
They need to fix it, though. It makes no sense after the first week.

Yes. They left some space between the last digital maxi and "FEL"'s announcement.
I think we got "American Pie" on March 22 2022 and then "Don't Cry For Me Argentina" on April 3 2022. Then nothing until "FEL" announcement, pre-orders and the first pre-release track, "Into The Groove (You Can Dance Remix Edit)", on May 4 2022. A month exactly.
Of course this doesn't mean it's gonna happen again but hey...

In the VH1 special Madonna Speaks, Madonna clarified that the theme behind "Hollywood", as well as "American Life" And "I'm So Stupid" from the album, was about her "wanting to shout from the rooftops that we have all been living in a dream. I have been living in a dream — and you're all living in a dream and we have to wake up to reality.
I've always thought Hollywood is a tounge in cheek reference to a place of pop stars and illusory dreams.

"Like A Prayer" 30th was a test! Released in March 2019, and only on streaming (not available for purchasing) was kind of a test between Madonna and Warner to see how things worked and if they got good results. A year later they started with the old digital singles releases and the deal was properly announced in August 2021.
So without "LAP" 30th maybe we wouldn't have had anything else later.
I agree it's a bad release. Only worth it for "Supernatural" on streaming.
