    I'm going to be HONEST...
Ricardo Gomes....the "director" of this video and responsible for most of her instagram, should be burn inmmediately
What was the fucking concept??? An ad for weed??? It looks cheap.
She looks good, but the disturbing/childish effects and the "male" part makes this a joke.
I've seen this video two times: the first and the last
'll stream the original as hard as always. Do you really think this will make her gain "younger" generations???
    Where's her manager?????????????????????????????????????????
she must stop smoking weed, wake up, and ditch that fucker who's ruining her, aka her "boyfriend"
    I'm SAD

Listening to Revolver right now (HORRIBLE vocal mixing by the way  I mean, amateur level) and just reminiscing on past Madonna eras while listening to Celebration and, well....
Was anyone completely caught off guard by Hard Candy? After Confessions, there were so many routes of music that still seemed unexplored for Madonna and yet ones that could be cool....but then...she suddenly did something that she had never really done before. She released an album that sounded a little dated already.
Everything about Hard Candy to this day still just feels so un-Madonna. I know this era is hotly debated by other Madonna fans, but I really do see Madonna as having had two eras -- 1983 - 2007 and 2008 - today and wonder if other Madonna fans feel this way. It's been so weird being in the fanbase as someone who discovered her around the time of Live 8, right before Confessions, and knowing what she was celebrated for and did at the time vs. how a lot of people perceive her today, as well as how she presents her art.
For the ones who agree, what do you think changed? Was Guy freakin Ritchie really the trigger to all of it, or were there other factors?
To clarify, I love everything she releases to this day. But I certainly feel like some of the magic Madonna always had started to disappear around Hard Candy, and I've always wondered if I'm the only fan who feels this way.
    Anyways, please discuss

What a load of crap why is she pursuing this? Stop chasing trends, charts and just focus on making good music like Madame X. Better yet give the fans something decent for sticking by her all of these years. Sorry but that song is clearly not aimed at her target audience and she is back with Warner Bros what are they thinking? Sorry I only ever vent if something is worth venting and this piece of garbage is dreadful. If anyone was looking to tarnish a fantastic song like Frozen follow those steps.

To be absolutely honest, I think this is the sort of thing that works fine in fans' imaginations, but in real life, it's just a terrible idea. Madonna and an orchestra... The reality of such a pairing would be a nightmare. And it would be boring. How long before she starts dry humping a double bass during the first verse? She needs those 808s and autotuned live vocals and those tits out moments, not an orchestra, how can she disturb the peace with a string quartet? ?

FallingInLove reacted to Juan Schmidl in Dislike towards Rebel Heart Tour?
Hi!  Saddly I couldn't afford to travel and get a ticket for the Rebel Heart Tour, The itinerary skipped my city (Buenos Aires) So I couldn't see it live.
My opinion is based in what I saw on the DVD / BluRay / YouTube / Friends Experiences at the shows around the world.
From my perspective, it was a concert made for Madonna by Madonna to please Madonna herself.
The songs choices wasn't bad, it was great, but the songs were palced in the wrong places, like Bitch I'm Madonna, that could had worked better as a closer like party and not with that asian style...
The concert scale was adjusted to the sales, and it wasn't sold out as other tours, so the Show was adjusted to smaller venues... In my opinion, she kinda upset the general audience, not her hard core fans, she is starting late every concert since 2008, there was so much "Darkness" and "Violence" in certain performances, and of course the high prices didn't help either.
There are parts that ar remarkable, alone, but there are some parts that feels flat, repeated, not fresh, not provocative, using the same sources and themes once again, religion, sex, cabaret, 20's.
It's an amazing concert, nobody can do better than her, but with this concert I felt that something was missing.
Other thing that is a mistake is the usage of cheap interludes. most of all Messiah and SEX, just cheap- All the efforts to make the incredible Introduction for Iconic, and not a chance to make something new for those interludes.
Everybody is mentioning it, The Band. We need real sound, guitars, base, percussion, winds, vilinists, drumms... That was something that she brought back at the MDNA Tour with the Kalakan Trio and their instruments, it felt fresh.
And one thing I cannot forgive is the edition of the DVD - So much edition - Adding things that didn't happened live, like sounds, like if it was a videoclip, so silly, unwatchable.
The things that I liked the most are:
1 - The Iconic entrance and performance
     2 - Deeper And Deeper
3 - Heartbreak City + Love Don't Live Here Anymore
     4 - Rebel Heart
     5 - Music
     6 - Unapologetic Bitch

FallingInLove reacted to Curtains in MEGARATE: First Album era [Results Show - Recap on first page]
Hi everyone ! Since we'll soon be celebrating the 40th anniversary of Madonna's career (!!), and due to popular demand, I'll organize a megarate for every single Madonna album.

Let's start where it all began, the first album, released in 1983. As requested by most users who participated to the last game, non-album tracks from the same era will also be included.

    Rules:
    - Make sure to know all the songs included in the competition.
    - Rate each song from 1 to 10. You are allowed to give the same rate to multiple songs.
    - Decimals are allowed only up to the hundredth (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED WHEN YOU CAN IN ORDER TO AVOID TIES).
    - You are allowed to give one 0 and one 11 (OPTIONAL).
    - Send your rates to me by personal messenger before December 15th, NOT in the thread.

    Results:
    #1 - 8,73 - Borderline
    #2 - 8,48 - Burning Up
    #3 - 8,34 - Holiday

FallingInLove reacted to Renato Iodice in Madonna’s worst career decision
Well, I got some unpopular opinions.
From The First Album to Vogue, I've little to complain: yes, to me I'm Breathless is just a pointless album, a collection of cheesy, irritating songs - and Holiday, Angel, Dress You Up, Causing A Commotion, The Look Of Love should have been promoted with REAL videos - but she always chose the right singles to promote her albums.
I'm still not sure about Erotica as lead single: IMHO Rain could have been a better choice, and it would have mitigated the controversy around the SEX book... and why she chose Fever as fifth single whe there was something like Why's It So Hard?
Music promotion should have been longer, and [first unpopular opinion] the Above & Beyond remix of What It Feels Like For A Girl is definitely one of her most perplexing choices: I mean, not only the album version is better, but with all the great tracks in Music, why ending the brief Music promotion with such a generic, forgettable remix? WHY? What was the point of that? To show Guy Ritchie's "talent"?
The whole American Life era: [second unpopular opinion] sorry but I DON'T GET THE HYPE. It's not a bad album, I overall like it, but the result doesn't match its political, songwriting ambitions. it totally lacks a killer track, and the title track is a mess that deserves all the bad reviews.
Beat Goes On and She's Not Me deserved a video treatment, and it could have changed the perception of Hard Candy...  [third unpopular opinion] Hard Candy is a good album with an awful cover.
MDNA, Rebel Heart and Madame X: too much vocoder, too much autotune, too much trash, too many bad vocals, too many shitty collaborations, too many ordinary/cheapish productions, and so on.
Edit. I forgot her acting career... with some fine exceptions, I'm still trying to forget it.
