Yes, that was the interview, thank you! I think she said same things in other interviews too.

Interestingly, some years ago she said that at that time she was behaving as Saintdonna cause Guy Ritchie wanted her that way, but that was not her real self so it all flopped. But I always thought it was her spirituality the cause of it.
Anyway, being controversial is an essential element of her public persona, but at the same time General Public adores her always that she is not so controversial, no matter what she does: ROL, True Blue, Confessions, Music...all pure hit when she is not so focused on LOL disturbing the peace.

It was an American Life Tour in disguise (the album's themes are front and center through out the show, let's face it) but they used her hits (hence the name of the tour) to sell the show. Very clever if you ask me.

Also, Re-Invention was the best hair she had on tour, it looked great from start to finish, usually the last act her hair is all messed up.

Thank you! That was my opinión, at lesst. On reinvention, i love that tour and i think she was at her peak physically, vocally, all amazing. 2006 was amazing too of course. But yes, very kaballah oriented!

"The Celebration tour may be is over... for now 😊"
I believe he means there's gonna be a new leg one day. The choice of words, the fact he finished his sentence then add three points and adds "for now" and adds a smiling emoji. All of that is made on purpose in my opinion. It would be a really strange choice of words to talk about the release of the video.

To me it is and it isn’t. Compared with Drowned World you can say it’s a greatest hits tour, but compared with the tours before and even after it’s not. People forget for DWT she had three albums she never toured and that especially Ray Of Light and Music were so huge that most of the singles were actually hits and same goes for some album tracks.

@Drownedboy mentioned in the Angela Becker thread in the last couple of days that Confessions is probably her most Kabbalah influenced album, even though most would argue that is ROL.

I also noticed when rewatching IGTTYAS yesterday that near the end when she is in Israel, she is comparing and contrasting Catholicism and Judaism, and she states that Rosh Hashanah (specifically the process of looking back at your whole year and where you fucked up and hurt people) is “the real version of Confession”.

Obviously Madonna has used Catholic language and imagery throughout her career, but considering the timing (IGTTYAS coming out just seven months after the release of Confessions, she must have been working on both simultaneously a while) and in context with the points above, I really could see for the first time the genesis of these ideas coming at the same point in time instead of totally separate projects.

Each of her eras usually feel so distinctly different from what has come before and what eventually comes after that it feels easy to consider them little capsules, separate from influence on each other. But obviously that is not the reality, and she would be in a constant state of development, little by little inching towards the next incarnation.

Actually for the 2003 - 2007 period was really the more kaballah heavy period in the sense she was preaching and preaching, and Confesions is a Kabalah album disguised as a fun album in order to gain popularity again but keep the preaching LOL.
Even though it seems ROL might be most kabalah inspired one, I don´t think so, cause it was more introspective than preaching one. And music might be the one more free of that preaching of those 4 albums.

It's normal to feel that way. The reason you feel that way is because you've seen Madonna's face worse than that since then for a long time. There's a paper on excessive plastic surgery and psychiatry and I'll explain it to you.
1.This is a normal face without plastic surgery.

2.This is the face of the first stage of plastic surgery.

    3. Comparing the above two faces, most people think the first stage of plastic surgery is more beautiful than the one before plastic surgery.

    4. And this is the second stage of plastic surgery.

    5. Let's compare the first stage of plastic surgery with the second stage of plastic surgery. Here, people's opinions are divided according to taste. Some say the first stage is more beautiful, while others say the second stage is more beautiful. Because up to this point, it is not a very excessive plastic surgery, but an acceptable level of plastic surgery, so the evaluation is divided according to taste.

    6. And This is the third stage of plastic surgery. It has definitely started to cross the line now. People start to feel sorry for that look, saying, "Ewwww" "Why?"

    7. Comparing the second stage of plastic surgery with third stage. Most people feel the second stage is more beautiful. And people say she had to stop plastic surgery at the second stage. And People say, "Why did she ruin that beautiful face herself!!"

    8. But that's not the end. Let's look at the fourth stage of plastic surgery. Yeah.. It looks like terrible and horrible photoshopped photos that Ricardo creates. People just sigh. "OH... MY... GOD...Why? Why? Ewwwww"

9.And Here comes a very Very interesting point. Let's compare the third and fourth stages of plastic surgery.

Until they saw the horrific images of stage four, people thought stage three would be the worst. But those who are accustomed to seeing stage four, which is even more dreadful than that, are now beginning to misthink that stage three face look normal and beautiful when they look at photos from stage three!

You guys are So critical at that time but now that photo FEEL looks so beautiful? You may not want to admit it, but the reason you feel that way is Because you've gotten used to her much worse plastic surgery face (plus Useless Riacrdo's horrible photoshope photos) since that picture.

This is a little different topic from this topic, but it is very interesting when my reaction is different from that of people who are native to English.
For example I really like American Life rap part. But almost all native English speakers seem to hate the rap part.
If English is my first language, I always wonder and really curious that I would hate that part like them.

For me very important, as I learned english thanks to her music, and also thanks to other great artists.
Said that, I probably missed some things as it is not my first language, but overall I think she is quite straight to the target concerning what she wants to express.

That's what the sister said. When it comes to religions I only see grifters so any of them have the same values to my eyes.
From what she said it has to do with  the way she was involved with the organization rather than the meaning of the spiritual side.
Like they used her and tell her what to do or not and that clashes with Caresse help.
How much of that has to be part of the real deal who knows.
@Roland Barthes has some interesting points and info on that thread I just shared

Her emotional delivery has always been her main vocal talent, and that's what made her connect with millions of non-English speakers around the world, in my opinion.
Maybe you didn't understand what she was saying, but you got her: the vibe, the emotion.
She was (and still is) great at expressing different kinds of emotions with her voice.
