Haha. It's been my life since 2001. Madonna goes on tour, I go on tour too! 
I usually do 30-40 shows, this is my tour with the most dates, for a bit of a reason : Madame X I had 50 shows booked; my mum became terminally ill just before the tour started - I was distracted, grumpy, and when I was away just wanted to be home and became resentful of being abroad when shows were being cancelled and I could have been at home with mum, and I ended up cancelling all the Paris shows to become her full time carer - which I got to do throughout the pandemic until she died in Oct 2020. Mum was a Madonna fan before me - and always knew my passion for travel and her shows, and she felt a burden for me cancelling the Paris dates and made me promise I'd "make it up next time" which is what I'm planning on doing.
In terms of my touring bug, Ive told my story on various TV shows, magazines and podcasts about how I caught the bug, why & how so won't repeat it here. It's so lovely because I can land in any country now knowing theres 'Madonna friends' there; i've met so many of you guys over the years. Sure you get a bit of judgement, hate and bullying for doing what you love the most (there was once a moderator on another forum who became my biggest hater - I called him a fan  - a couple of tours ago)  but you just shut that out!
Anyways ive taken this way off topic, naughty for a Mod on other M forums - sorry / understand if this needs to be deleted!

Can't wait to have this vinyl!!! my only (little) complaint: the two bonus tracks at the end of the tracklist. I prefer the correct setlist order cause otherwise it just ruins the whole experience for me. But it has been the same with other live releases so...

The tour will start in Europe in October and just the North American leg will be rescheduled... Madonna just posted an official  statement on Instagram

She is so humble. I love and respect her. I'm kinda of happy she's not jumping into the tour quickly -- that shows the level of professional she is. She wants to give the fans what they paid for her to see. Don't. Fuck. With. The Queen. We all seem to forget in these moments she is and will always be the force to learn and reckon with.

All this is making me feel so sad these days. On one hand, I hope that M is recovering and that she will be back stronger than ever, because her health is the most important aspect.
On the other hand, if the European leg will be canceled too, the whole situation is worse than expected. And this will be the second time that I will miss her seeing live on stage. And I have never had the opportunity to see her live  the first time I got tickets for M was during the Madame X Tour in Paris and she canceled my show just two hours before start.
So again, I know that M needs to rest because her health is the most important thing right now, but I can also understand the disappointment among fans. Let's hope for the best for both us fans and M

Obviously her health is extremely important but what a sad time it is for everyone the excitement of the tour we should of all been feeling now as a community it's just sadness and shock, who would have thought this could have been predicted when the tour was announced.

Fans who feel the need to perform a duty by listening to something they don’t like will be happy to learn that their listen won’t have any impact. A hit becomes a hit because it connects with the masses. As this is truly geared toward a specific audience, I think it will do its job naturally. It is a dance club song and will be a huge dance club hit. Anything better than that is beyond anyone’s control, but with this and Popular, Madonna has done her best to guarantee she reconnects with the GP, something she probably wouldn’t have been able to achieve with a solo release, no matter how close to a masterpiece it was. We may no longer get much insight into Madonna as a music industry baller, but clearly she still is. 

It sounds like he’s trying to pull a Purple Rain but has ended up with Glitter

I mean that it seems to be a catchy/fun song but that it sticks to the same formula and imagery that she has used so often in the past (Human Nature, Erotica etc.) A sound that will appeal only to her main fanbase and that you will only hear in gay clubs (nothing wrong with that!!! I guess that is her intention with this song). "Popular" on the other hand, sounds more "fresh" compared to her recent collabs and hopefully will appeal to a wider audience.
