I watch it, but it is trash.
They constantly set the contestants up to be catty and mean to one another. Bringing in pairs of drag queens that they know don’t get along, have beef, etc.
I like the show, but let’s not pretend it’s any different from any other reality show (they thrive on drama and welcome it (ratings)).

I’ve seen entire episodes and that’s my opinion of it. All these reality shows have “heart,” they feature real people so there is always something the producers can dig up for the cameras to create an engaging show. It’s a formula we’ve seen for decades now. There are far better things I’d rather watch. Anyway I guess there’s no point talking about it since we clearly don’t like the same things. Let’s get back to Madonna shall we.

Agree. I’ve never even watched that thing and most of my friends don’t care about it either. And they’re gay too. It’s just not entertaining or funny for every single gay out there. Not every gay likes the same things. Some gays aren’t even into Madonna or pop culture in general. It’s so stereotyped to think that we all enjoy the same stuff. The only universal thing all gays like is men. 

Believe it or not not all of us are glued to that superficial nonsense that is Drag Race. Not sure why you find it so hard to believe?

If you’re talking about me I am allowed to have an opinion about drag as an art form. I have nothing against it or those who participate. It has been oversaturated in the queer community ever since I’ve known. Just the same as the male queer community is obsessed with buff bodies, sex, youthfulness and general superficiality. There’s a large portion of us that do not feel a belonging to the community as a result. To feel this way does not mean that we prejudice at all, just that we would like to see the culture evolve from where it is to be more diverse. For a community that promotes diversity and inclusion they don’t always live up to that, it’s generally on specific terms that shuts a lot of people out if they don’t fit into the accepted categories. Drag is one of those categories and it’s all over mainstream now, as far as a lot of people are concerned it IS the queer community. Which it isn’t.
I do however think it aligns with Madonna and her music so it’s very appropriate she would have Bob as a support act. I am all for it and especially in America where they are being used to perpetuate homophobia.

I´ll remember is very good, I like it better than Rain. The general public loves Madonna when she softens her image and it´s sweet and does beautiful things. Ergo all her hits with True blue, ROL or Music.
It´s when she tries to change the world and be like Che guevara on the cover or been so hypersexual or wears a strange image people don´t like her so much,

I’ll Remember is probably the Madonna song I hear in US classic adult contemporary radio. Like the shit they play in grocery stores and gas stations.
For personal reasons it’s one of my fave Madonna tracks of all time.
