I would say she does this every tour anyway. People just don't realize it sometimes. Some say Reinvention was a greatest hits tour, but its just like all the rest with half greatest hits and half new album.

I used to fantasize about the idea of a Celebration 10th anniversary world tour with all the greatest hits. Performing the standard edition tracklist and maybe "Bitch, I'm Madonna" and the "Magic" singles thrown in for good measure.

It would be massively successful and popular among the casual fans BUT then again, I really admire how she lives in the moment and proudly promotes her new material during every album cycle. Madonna's refusal to become what others expect her to be it's part of her charm and I for one am glad that at this point, she hasn't succumbed to certain clichés for a quick buck (Christmas albums, awkward meet and greets, nostalgic Vegas residencies, etc.).

I think her tours usually offer a nice balance of re-invented classics and modern songs (Drowned and MDNA aside) but they could capitalize on "The Immaculate Collection" turning 30 next year, if she wanted to.
