Yes, because harassing some huge record label over some silly dubs and edits is gonna change anything.

I mean it can't hurt - they might actually respond to feedback - if they aren't getting any they might just assume what they are delivering is what people want.

In case you haven’t noticed, that is exactly what @Adonna wants, so he can continue to brag about having enough money to buy some physical-exclusive versions of songs. He doesn’t want his precious collection to lose value.

Thank you. My point! Just don't stress and jump to conclusions.  It's not the end of the world if some random edit/dub isn't included.  No other artists has all their edits/dubs available either.  I'm a huge fuckin' M fan, but I don't even listening to half of these remixes and I own them digitally/physically.

All those points made, one thing is certain... Some of the digital reissues included rare and promo cuts. And that mostly stopped... Why?

More less than more. I don't think we'll ever understand why some got some rare inclusions while most others didn't.  I guess for me, it's not something I expect, so it's not really a disappointment.  And if they are going to include something rare, I prefer it to be a mix or version that is greatly different from what's already available.  An edit or fade has no interest to me.  But yeah, I would love to see more remixes that are rare and hard to find on her streaming and digital platforms.  Still, she has far more available than any other artist.  :)

Again, since you don't seem to be able to grasp the idea of analog and digital source:

We are mostly rooting for the stuff that was NOT commercially available on CD but rather VINYL EXCLUSIVE. That means, in some ways they ARE unreleased. So I don't know what you are still yapping about. It's pretty clear as day that all this unreleased stuff you are wetting yourself over is NOT COMING unless Madonna decides to have them released on some kind of album re-issue. As long as all her singles aren't on streaming, we can be sure that the BIG album re-issue campaign isn't happening. So, maybe you would be better off in joining us rooting for all the singles to be released, so her team can move on to something else.

Preach 🙌🙌🙌🙌

@Aiwa08do you have FLAC or a rip of the Deepsky Dub and Brother Brown Dub of Die Another Day? Please and thanks either way! Your rips always sound so good!!

No, I’m sorry. Unfortunately, I stopped buying vinyls in 1995 and only returned to buying Madonna vinyls in 2007. From Frozen to 4 Minutes, there’s a huge gap in my Maxi-Singles collection, and I’m trying to fill it by searching for them on eBay, Discogs, etc. Back then, my goal was to collect all Madonna Maxi-CDs (not vinyls).

This is how I've always felt about this topic in general.

It felt like we were working towards wrapping up this digital re-release campaign.

Which, to echo a comment above, would mean Team Madonna / Rhino might then increase their focus on something else, like perhaps album reissues or maybe more projects like Finally Enough Love, that did at least get us the odd rare track like an Impressive Instant remix from a promo only single.

But it feels like things have been slowing down again and I wouldn’t be surprised if we don’t get another back catalogue digital single/EP this year. I’ve still got my fingers crossed that Open Your Heart will happen though, to keep the ball rolling.

If there’s no Open Your Heart, unless we get Live To Tell next March, I could easily see nothing else happening until the Dress You Up anniversary comes around again.

I just reviewed the anniversaries for the last few months and made a list. I included them all, except Into the Groove as it only get a separate single release outside the US, even though I don’t expect that they will all get a digital release.

I do find it strange that they released Angel/Into the Groove and a remastered Material Girl and then skipped the other two singles from the album.
