Anybody who attended Blond Ambition Tour back in the day here? Does the actual scream of those people between the end of Like A Virgin and start of Like A Prayer totally so loud that the audio cassette recordings could never??

Whenever I listen to some audience recorded audios, people were screaming a lot like it's a total ultimate mindfuck.:Madonna017:

The Dallas radio broadcast has been tampered with fake ass crowd noises.

She is the mother of the MDNA Tour Live Audio, sister of the Girlie Show Tour DVD audio.

What date was this? Is there video of that? I would love to see that!

I just found this randomly in Google Images. Whatever date it is, we know that she was PLUCKED.

Yeah, on Dallas Soundboard, they included a fake crowd noise, but on the amateur recordings of this tour, the screams are so crazy especially when M is doing her Mastubation scene. Everybody's gone crazy.

If there's only a time machine, I would probably attend any tourdates of this concert, and see how people are gone uncontrollably crazy.

I would love to be in the Toronto dates because I know and we know she was unfazed and unbothered by the police threats so I wanna see in person the whole moment unfolding.

But Michael Jackson had one concert from the Bad tour professionally filmed and nobody knew about it before it was finally released by his estate

No, the Wembley show DVD has scenes from other Wembley shows (MJ did 5-6 shows between July and August). The Way You Make Me Feel on that release is from 15th July not 16, also Billie Jean dance is probably from 22 August.

So the Wembley shows, beside Liverpool and Leeds were professionally filmed.

sorry but i really dont believe she recorded every show since wtg tour - what would be the point in that ? i think people just refer to the jumbo screens which were projected live - i dont think anyone would have recorded that - i know pat leonard had cassettes from some of the wtg shows ( man i really hope paris and london were part of that) but i have no idea what he did with them - this is another frustrating part of this terrible warner campaign - no mention of concert material at all :( which in some cases are far more important part of her legacy than FEL or some stupid vinyl release ....

I think it would take nothing to press record and keep an archive of everything. No different to how TV stations archive their broadcasts. They did it with MJ as well apparently, that is why they were able to release his Wembley show decades later. It's more a question of if those recordings still exist or have been taken care of. It was said MJ's Wembley show was a transfer of his own personal VHS from his collection which means they didn't have the master tape anymore. They said they had footage of other shows but it was "unusable." I think if these things haven't been digitised by now and are just sitting in storage by the time anyone gets to them they won't be salvageable.

I actually think she would, she is a perfectionist, it would be easy to record the feed going to the screens and the output of the sound deck.

I don't think the Dallas footage has anything to do with the Miramax Docu-film, everything that was recorded by Keshishian is secretly kept in Madonna's 'bunker' somewhere unspecified.

What I know for sure is that HBO had promotional VHS of the Houston, Dallas, Worchester, NJ concerts (24-25) that I saw 20 years ago on Ebay at absurd prices, they were probably intended for TV promotion but the concerts were entire, surely the recordings were like those of East Rutherford that came out a few years ago.

"Westwood one" had the rights to both concerts, probably they had to cut a lot to make the concert acceptable, given the mistake Madonna made and the whistles from the people...

I wonder where all this footage and audio ended up...

We nearly had a filmed show in Rome

RAI never planned to record the Rome concert, the date was always Barcelona, but confirmed after italian dates. When the tickets went on sale, I went to the bank to pick them up expecting to find a very long line and instead the clerk didn't even know that the tickets would go on sale that day. Italy had just come out of a major sporting event that had employed economic resources from many people, in fact the Rome concert was scheduled a few days after the end of the World Cup and certainly not everyone wanted to spend money on other events. Not even Prince's concert that year was sold out, the legend that it was the Catholic Church's fault has always been a falsehood invented at the table.

The article taken from italian newspaper "La Stampa" June 5th 1990, few days after tickets on sale, it says:

"The RAI live TV broadcast scheduled for mid-July from Barcelona is not certain, Madonna has changed her mind and will decide only at the last moment"

Very true. They jumped on the occasion, and history was made under this most excellent "The Vatican cancelled my show" legend, but the truth is this was the lowest-selling show of the whole tour and the competition with the World Cup was real and palpable. This whole Vatican-nonsense and the "I arrived in NY with 35$ in my pocket" are pretty much bullshit, but that's the sort of lies legends are made of.

the Vatican never intervened regarding the concert, certainly some fascist "Catholic" magazine did, but I never heard any direct comment from the Vatican. Only legends surely invented by journalists and then reported indirectly by Madonna's entourage themselves.

The concert in Rome was almost sold out, about 3 thousand tickets were missing, the stadium was very small. In another newspaper I read that for the second date 3 thousand tickets out of 32 thousand had been sold, for this reason they cancelled the concert and also for a general strike of the national unions. But the trigger, certainly, were the few tickets sold.

In Turin even worse, the day before the concert they had sold 12 thousand tickets sold of 60 thousand, around 30.000 were given for FREE, but the concert in Turin was beautiful, truly wonderful, she was very charged and (perhaps) content to leave Italy.

I have the Itinerary Book of the European dates won at the Ebay auction and belonged to Melissa Crow and inside it's written that in addition to Rome and Turin, another date in Italy was scheduled after Nice, Bologna or Verona, for this reason in the film Truth or Dare she says: I was forced to cancel two shows!
