Is it true that in UK any performers have to pay a fine when their shows end later than the scheduled time?
 
I just read an article (on NOM) that mention this point to explain why the London's shows had started so early

 

Yes this is true if the venue has a curfew

Yes, it differs slightly from venue to venue, but if the curfew is 11pm there is a ten minute overrun period before they turn the electricity off at the venue. The artist is also fined £10,000 per minute that they run over.

Thanks for the info guys! That's a good thing IMO! I was a bit septic when I was reading this article!

So I guess the show is going to start "in the next few minutes"
