New Studio Album or Celebration Tour?

I believe she and Stuart already worked on the CT mix for the film release.  I'm doubting she really re-recorded anything.  I'm betting CT film will see a release by the end of this year or early next year.  I honestly expected it be available on streaming by this month, but these are scheduled long in advance and I think we would have known by now if something was scheduled on some streaming platform.

Yes. It's interesting the diversity of thoughts here.  Also, I just love that such a poll can allow those who ordinarily aren't interested in chiming in with words on these issues.

I strongly (and I want to) believe they're working on a new album.

As I said in the other thread, I think the time is now ripe to release a new album. There is not much material left to re-release on the streaming platform and if she wants to really push the numbers she needs new music. I don't think the general public cares a lot about her old singles being uploaded again on Spotify (and they're not advertised much), while a new album can give the boost she really needs after a very successful tour and many appearances here and there these past few weeks.

As for the pics themselves, they clearly show she's working on something deeper than a simple recording of the CT. Her tour edits usually take a lot of time, so I really hope she's gonna release the CT movie soon this time and use it to carry the attention of people towards the new album (in a similar way Lady Gaga did with her Chromatica Ball film).

And last, but not least: Madonna has dyed the roots of her hair a few weeks ago, if it's not a confirmation of a new album coming soon, than what would it be? 🤣

When she works again with a producer of the past after moving to new ones it is always less interesting than originally.

I agree.. Even if I totally love COADF, I would rather see her exploring the new producers as in her past than going back to the old ones. 

If she's trying to make more fun, dance 80s pop tracks, there are plenty producers doing it nowadays.. I don't know, for example Purple Disco Machine, they might do one or two great songs together and it would be even fresh for her. 

I love Stuart as producer, even his works for other artists than Madonna. But let's be honest they already reached the absolute TOP with COADF, anything coming after that will be naturally slightly worse. You simply cannot be better than the best.

Stuart might just be one of many producers she's got lined up for her next album.  Personally, I'd love it to be a Stuart only affair.  As I mentioned before, as as you stated, it most likely won't be as phenomenal as what came of COADF, but who knows it might still have enough fire to it, for it to be quite stellar still.  Certainly, I am not expecting the same commercial success COADF had, but I think if it's promoted as the first album in six years and with the right buzz and promotion, it may get some nice attention.  I can only be hopeful because at this point, she could have just retired long ago, and still accomplished more than most have.

Until something is officially announced I won't get my hopes up - at the moment it's just rumors and pictures - without context on what she's working on in the studio.

Nothing more official than right from the HORSES mouth when she says, "back in the Stu with Stewart Price".  But yes, I agree we do not know in what "context".  Still, it is fun to speculate!!

I didn't say it wasn't - don't mince my words. What I said, nothing has been officially announced as to what she is doing in the studio - at the moment it's rumors and speculation.
