It's funny really isn't it. The real reason were so hungry for Madonna,  either new or reissued, is that when all is said and done, despite many brave and brilliant careers from other pop girls, no one has come even remotely close to touching her brilliance, savvy and creativity. She's just utterly peerless. While Michaels excellence and imagination was Disney / Apple / Hollywood levels. Prince's talent and musical ability was Beethoven and Van Gogh like. Madonna just cut through the listener and audience like ...well... a Ray Of Light I suppose. It's almost prophet like in so many ways. Like a voice from the future coming to show society its hypocrisy. Truly enlightened. When you go back and watch any of her old interviews she's just magnetic and always ahead of the curve politically. It's like she knew. II still find it wild to watch her old stuff and see how ahead she was. She's truly one for the ages in that 82-05 period musically and socially. Mad respect. We truly wont see her like again it's beyond.

She does that because her business is based on a tiny fanbase that has to be fed a lot of new releases to keep them going. Meanwhile M's business doesn't work that way AT ALL.
