I know Edward is reliable as we know the same people however as he stated in the latest episode and as we have all suspected schedules have been moved around based on different events around the film, tour and personal life and nothing can be released without M approving it - the reality is, there could be things that have been at that approval phase for sometime or things that have been approved that are being pressed at the moment - until M announces it, we won't know what is coming when

I mean sure, but it still amounts to nothing if there are not any details (what is being worked on) or any rough time schedule. 
 

we all know something is eventually going to be released. The thing is what and when lol

 

not to diss him or his show as I stated I really enjoy it but still, I assume something has been worked on but until there is something more concrete we can all say “something is being cooked!” And be right lol

I don't believe for a second Madonna is holding anything back to be released.  If something has been finished, why would she hold it back especially when she could capitalize on the Holiday season?  Also, Madonna has to adhere to release dates as well. She doesn't have complete control in when something can be released. Movies, Books and music (especially in physical format) has to be scheduled long in advance.

I really thought 2024 was definitely a year we'd probably get some goodies, and I do think much has probably been worked on, but maybe there is some strategic plan at a later date for more things to come.  I guess we'll see!  #soon

MDNAT Was a tremendous success 

I’ve had a tremendous fun and exciting last decade with Madonna, I loved Rebel Heart album and tour so much that I even got a tattoo, and loved every minute of MX and MXT and also went and got a tattoo of it, if people are that disappointed why are they still here? 

Celebration tour was magnificent 

We are getting tons of more new fresh stuff that fans of Michael Jackson, Prince, George Michael, Whitney etc etc etc.

Yeah, I love the last three albums/eras as well.  I especially loved Rebel Heart the most of the three.  Had a fantastic tour as well.  She's also released some really kick ass music videos as well from those album.  I also agree with you the "Celebration Tour was magnificent".  Some forget that came off the back of the Finally Enough Love release.  While it's not the conventional way she has toured, but as she said with the music industry evolving, she has to find new ways to get her music heard.

I agree five years since a studio album has been frustrating, but it's not like she was sitting around doing anything.  We also have to always remember that she's had health issues plague her between that time as well. I'd say for 40 years, she's really delievered a lot to fans.

If I remember correctly, the original LAV album was held back to give the first album more time. Then You Can Dance was held back wasn't it? And that's just two examples we know if when things didn't go according to the plan. So who's to know really what's happening behind the scenes, apart from those behind the scenes.

Yeah, the LAV was originally planned for a summer release, but her previous singles and current ones were blowing up.  They even released "Lucky Star" (in the U.S.) after LAV was originally planned to be released.  When she was asked for the first VMA's they wanted her to perform "Lucky Star", but Madonna wanted to perform something new.  And the rest is history...

As for You Can Dance, I believe that was a matter of being worked on sometime after LAV, but then True Blue became the focus, so it was put off, which ended up including tracks from True Blue and Spotlight which was one of the songs considered for True Blue.

I think the BS thing, whatever it will be, could be coming really soon because she teased it, she did in her own Instagram stories first and then some weeks later her team did it again on the the FB page (soon meaning before summer). She may want to release the Celebration tour  in the same period of the BS surprise, it's the classic strategy where a stronger project (the tour film wich is for a big streaming platform) can lead some attention to the weakest one (the BS one, wich is basically for us).

But she did not mention any music "release".  And while I think she is the one posting from her IG post,  I don't believe the same with the Facebook.  There was no promise of any musical "surprise".  Fans jumped to conclusions and assumed more than what could have been intended.

I don't believe she's abandoned in making new music.  I think she's been trying do so, but there's been obstacles along the way as well as other projects happening.

Like you, I have "hope", but I also know I'm no longer going to assume anything that isn't specifically announced. At this time, no one from her team has announce any thing new regarding music whether it's a EP of demos or new music. All of this has been assumed by fans based on very little and vague comments.

Oh my! I had no idea Lucky Star could've been performed 🙂 I've been a fan since seeing her on Solid Gold with Holiday when I was a toddler and I'm only just learning that 🙂 

 

I always wished YCD had a few more tracks rather than the dubs, for example La Isla Bonita, Who's That Girl, Dress You Up and Open Your Heart would've been great on it I thought 🤔
