Yeah, we all have our opinions. I quite like the song, so on the contrary, if the demos sounded like Love Won't Wait, I'd be excited to hear them, but the descriptions of these other demos go beyond the sound of Love Won't Wait, and I for one would love to hear them, even if they end up being duds.  After all, they were abandoned for a reason.

Now you don’t want demos after YEARS of moaning about them? Also if you listen to the podcast you would realize the demos have nothing to do with Love Won’t Wait (a lovely song we only have in shitty quality).

Okay I usually see your point but… come on. It would be worth it alone for the sake of knowing more about Madonna’s process for creating BS - something she has very rarely allowed.

JUSTICE FOR LOVE WON'T WAIT!!!

It's a cheeky, very '80s track. In EU it was a good success when Gary Barlow released it and I remember listening to that on the radio and thinking "Oh this guy is really going Madonna with that sound" years before I got to know it actually was a track she wrote herself and I listened to her version (wich was almost the same). This means to me how much "M" that track sounds. Then, I mean, there's also lightheartedness in life: it's full of artists who make entire records just singing love songs and others who shake their asses and moan all the time. Both things are uninteresting and reductive when they lack complexity and multiplicity, but that is not her case.

What I also like of LWW is THE SOUND HER VOICE HAS IN THE TRACK , like in the Just a dream clips we heard recently, she sings it going to her lower register in more than one point and really seems to enjoy the melody, cause if there is something that M's singing succeds imo is communicating the flavour of the composition, expressing the colours, the turns and the "plungings" of a melody. Yes, the lyrics are meh and the song was never released but we know she chose to change direction for the album and THIS  makes those tracks so interesting: they were not scrapped because they were considered bad, they were just the beginning of a project she chose not to close. Whoever listened to these songs said very positive stuff about them and, if Guido in his recent interviews for his book says that Bring it is very good and joyful, someone else (sorry I don't remember who he was), wrote that Goodtime feels even better (Guido, for what I know at the moment, didn't have the opportunity to listen to that one). 

Then let's face it: we don't have ANYTHING to chat about at the moment, so I think this is the main reason why many of us are going on chatting about these demos
