What do you think of the REMASTERED Madonna's streaming discography?

I think it's great that all the old singles are being remastered and re-released on streaming sites.

I wish we had that luxury back in the 80s when I discovered Madonna.

But on the other hand. There was a certain charm in tracking down her maxi-singles in nearby cities and running up to my room as soon as we got home cause I couldn't wait another minute to listen to the remixes. Jackpot was of course US pressings.

While not 100% perfect (especially on "Open Your Heart" or some botchy edits like "BIM"), I liked the Mike Dean 2022 remasters on "Finally Enough Love". The versions of "Like A Virgin" and "Material Girl" there are the best sounding ones currently on streaming, in my opinion. And in general all 80s tracks there (minus "OYH").

The rest available, not that good. The "Material Girl" single 2024 Remaster is atrocious. And when they've tried to push the volume on oldest material like "Gambler" the result is bad as well.

On the other hand, most people don't care and/or notice about this stuff, so...
