it's a boring time with no news of madonna making even a new album .

Do you think and when she will make a new album again?

she is not with a recored company and do you think she really wants a killer album to please fans and general people or just don't care .

will she just do what she wants even with loosing more loyal fans ?

yes she has a catalog full of albums and song that did great but does she cares in this time ?

Tell me you expectations

i love her past albums but in your soul you like madonna to do....?

ps : will she she becomes natural again or the be the big star like she used to be with classic hits

There is no demand and nothing set in motion 3 years from minimum and she will be almost 70 by then

We know she was in the studio with Stuart recently. The confusion is if it was for the Celebration Concert film or if it was for new music.

As for her "not with a record company", Warner would probably be her distributor as they distributed Madame X Tour Experience digitally/streaming as well as the Finally Enough Love.  I can't imagine they wouldn't be part of a new album either.

I don't think she's losing Loyal fans either.  But I do think she's trying to feel it all out, because we all know Madonna likes to get the biggest bang for her buck and find a way to get her new music heard.  Even she knows, the music industry has changed, and it doesn't help she's an older pop artist that most mainstream pop outlets won't give her the time of day.

I personally believe she and Stuart have been working on new music.  Though, it's been quiet regarding that since.  It'll be interesting to see what happens after the holidays.  I personally thought the Celebration Tour Film would have been released by now.

It really depends on whether the biopic is ever going to be made and if so when. Maybe an EP could drop sooner than later.

However, somehow I don’t believe a proper new album is around the corner. It’s been five years since MX. I guess we have now entered the Kate Bush era of dropping any new material every 8-16 years.

yeah, what did you mean by 'she's not with a record label'? Didnt M sign back with Warner? When they announced the Deluxe Re-issues with bonus material hand curated by M herself, which is "Coming Soon" (3?4? years ago?) I thought it was part of a new bigger deal that encompassed her back catalog & future stuff? Although that announcement was eons ago and I'm old and cant remember shit so maybe I'm wrong

The Warner deal, as it’s been announced thus far, is only for reissues of her catalog.

Not accurate! The Madame X: Music from the Theater Xperience wasn't a "reissue".  It was released by Warner.  FEL while did include mostly remixes of older songs, it was not a "reissue" either, but I can see that considered more of a new curated project under the deal.  :)

Well the topic says when do you think not what are the facts. I feel there won't be a new album in at least 3 years because their is no demand from the gp for one. She is more of legacy act now and completely leaned into it with the last tour. I think her team knows this and knows her fans aren't nessasarly looking for her to record new music. So a new album is not a priority on not in the works yet.

Well at this point her fans know whatever she releases will have a rap feature to try and get played on the radio. Quite different from other points of her career. Madonna fans don't want hiphop from her so new album now isn't the same excitiment level as new albums during her older eras. I don't even think Madonna is interested in having new music out there either

she may be considered a legacy act by some, but she's a prolific artist. She'd ALWAYS prefer to make new art rather than revisit her past. Celebration tour was to please GP and thank her rebel hearts, but she's always been more interested in creating something new and moving forward with new sounds & new ideas.

Also saying M fans dont want hiphop for a new album is short sighted. M is always ahead of the curve musically. She's had a hiphop vibe throughout her career so obvy a lot of fans are here for it

I think she’s in a completely different frame of mind from what you are describing, she has been curating a completely different persona since before the Celebration Tour and it’s paying off… if she’s taking time it might be due to whatever biopic stuff is going on or maybe not

I truly don’t think that we as fans are expecting her to be played on the radio and she has as well come to terms with it. From her last three albums only 2 singles have had rappers on them GMAYL and BIM, other two had Maluma and Swae Lee so I don’t see if that’s a hip hop trend

Madonna will always be interested in being heard by her audience and she always will have something to say… of course the excitement of a new album isn’t the same for the majority of people, what’s exciting to you as it was when you were 18-30-40 years old? Nothing is as exciting as it was when you freshly discovered something or are right in the middle of her chart dominance

I can only speak for myself so I’m very much excited for anything new she’ll bring to her amazing catalogue next

So based on all that are you gonna answer the question? When will she release a new album? So according to you and your comment it's coming this year or next?

She recorded new music, that's a fact. Martin and Price are documented and confirmed. And I also like to mention (for a personal hope) she invited The Weekend to record again together. So she is interested in recording new stuff, she is very secretive this time about it, maybe she's just trying things or she has a project in the works that she wants to manage differently than the last ones, wich would fit the new way she's handling her business since 2023. Actually the last thing we knew about her was that she was in a studio.

The movie seems to be suspended at the moment, Garner is booked on different sets for the whole 2025, she might comprehensibly have problems with that (again, a possibility and a personal hope ). I expect some concrete news from spring to autumn, if something is really in the works.

I was thinking about this again in recent days. It’s such a complex question for a multitude of reasons…Current popular music is so mediocre and derivative that the thought of her releasing anything that mirrors the current music landscape sends chills down my spine! She really would need to come up with something utterly unique yet authentically Madonna, which just seems impossible to imagine. I suppose she could do something very retro, but that seems highly unlikely too. The 80s revival has come and gone, and now everything just sounds like it was made using Logic Pro loops. We need a sonic revolution, along with all the other revolutions that are long overdue, and yet I can’t help feeling none of them will ever happen because everyone is living in their own smartphone-driven bubble thinking of ways to create a moment for tik tok.

I think if she leaned into that retro-modern synth-pop like Chappel Roan, the music could be really amazing.

I’m surprised Madonna hasn’t gone that super synth-pop route, yet.

It would suit her beautifully.

I think she’s avoided it because it harkens back to a sound from the 80s that wasn’t ever hers. It’s more linked to new wave/New Romantics to my ears.

I still get excited thinking of the Talking Heads album featured in the “in the stu with Stu” London shoot. I’d die for a “Madonna returns to her late 70s punk rock roots” album produced by Stuart, and I think it’s the most likely outcome.

Please no EP.  They drop and come and go so quickly.  Would much rather a full body of work. Next year seems like a great time.  So far only lady gaga is certain in feb. Most of the big female names in pop have released albums this year last year, Ariana, Beyonce, Taylor, Dua, Charli, Billie, Sabrina, Chappel, Katy, Jolo. Kylie, Shakira.  Only Rihanna cud make a huge splash but that will never happen. Perfect timing for a new album from M
