I think the biopic should be a book!

I know she and so many of her fans are set on a biopic but I think it's either not going to happen or turn into a disaster. I've just started reading the new Cher book she's written and my god is it fascinating. I'd love Madge to do something like this. It really humanises the subject and also gives far more room for detail and feelings. And I can't accept the excuse for 'she's done too much for it to be a book' which I've heard often. Cher has been going since the mid sixties and is still as active as ever. What do you all think?

I've been saying this since the biopic was announced. And Debi Mazar just cosigned on IG that it should be a book first. You can go into detail about every era from day 1 til now. That could then be the basis for any film, series, musical, etc. The book release could be its own era. It has the potential to be another big "reinvention" for her. Do some long-form interviews. Bring back Kurt Loder. Tie it in with new music/ reissues. It seems so weird to me that they've been having her selling gyms, perfume, skincare when a book about her life is right there.

In my opinion, the biopic should be a TV series, with 8 or 10 episodes at a minimum, and it should aim to cover at least several decades.

yes for a book !! Madonna loves talking about herself and she has a pen! She is a very good speaker, intelligent and sensitive. She knows how to find the right words. Writing her memoirs in her own way would be wonderful and much more interesting than a series or film about her life. We already know everything about her “narrative” life, but a sincere and touching story of her journey and her feelings would be great. Unless she invents a destiny, or politicizes the book, or considers herself the incarnation of the divine.

She should make her story in comics, so the moment they get made in live action in the future we can discuss on how faithully each arc got adapated into movies like it's the MCU (Madonna Cinematic Universe)

 I think I rather have another official Coffee Table book. A huge one with (nothing but) high quality photos of her life.  As for the movie....I'd rather it be a big breathtaking Series like in an Outlander way. Maybe a book like this and a Series could be released all at the same time?

Everything since 2008 has been a car crash. I was hoping the new warner era would be amazing but we've had crumbs. I just hope whatever she has planned for us is worth the longer waits between music.

I'm so glad directors producers movie studios are saying no to her. They should say Madonna not even your own fans do not want this. And they already know your life story. You are beating a dead horse gurl
