No way, I thought Q sound was out of this world when blasted so loud with good speakers. it gave a uniform sound experience from start to finish, one of the reasons why it remained so remarkable decades later. It's perfect as it is.

The original recordings sound better than Q-Sound when played loud on a high-end system. If I want "3D sound" I'd prefer real multichannel audio.

Q-Sound was poorly received because it relied on listeners being in a "sweet spot" between speakers to fully appreciate its 3D effect, making it impractical in everyday settings. Its sound was inconsistent on systems other than pure stereo, and for many, the effect was too subtle to justify its use, making it seem more like a gimmick than a true innovation. Production required specialized equipment, increasing costs and complicating adoption, while more versatile technologies like Dolby Surround surpassed it in compatibility and popularity. Lastly, the limited amount of content produced in Q-Sound further reduced its relevance.

Don't get me wrong, I think The Immaculate Collection works really well as a standalone album. However, as a Madonna fan, it feels very incomplete to me, with edits that are too short, etc. And I much prefer how the original recordings sound without Q-Sound.

P.S.: However, I love the Q-Sound in video games.

Guys i know that not all of us speak french, me neither but if you translate the text and carefully slowly read the full interview with the owner of BubbelPOP she points out that she got permission to use the original masters of the Dallas concert, it's not a radio broadcasting like some of you speculate, this is gonna be the actual first ever licensed original official 100% authentic release of the live audio

She states that a french store called FNAC connected her with a private english enterprise specialized in vinyls and they made sure that the audio is in perfect quality

Warner has nothing to do with this release cause they don't own the rights of the live audios, even tho they are the owners of the studio versions

She also says that she's trying to get permission to include the original press kit on the 'box set', a nice thing for Madonna fans since these press kits are not so easy to get! 

And at last she says that PIONEER owns the Blond Ambition video footage/masters and not even Madonna can get them even tho she's tried. I really hope somebody rips and shares this vinyl because i don't live in Europe so i can't get it  i wanna hear it so badly!!

FNAC is not listing this as a future release, but after reading the Zikma interview I believe it won't be long.

As for the vinyl, it will probably be some colored disc.
