I thought she sounded great in Rio especially on Bad Girl

The Rio show was very processed audio wise, I wonder if that’s why there was the 15 minute delay with it going out in the live broadcast so they could edit the audio, they must have been working like mad.

Absolutely. The dubbed broadcast mess wasn't necessary at all. I think they played safe in case it would turn out to be a eurovision vocals wise mess. But in the end it didn't, she sounded fine. I i think that also for the other dates of the tour, she mostly sounded o.k to sometimes good. And yes ofcourse some dates where a bit off at times but that's normal.  But overall i think she did a great job, especially for someone her age giving that kind of concerts...

The broadcast itself yes. I also think that's the reason for the delay. Because she sang live at the moment itself.  Holliday is a great example. Compare fan recordings to the broadcast audio , in the broadcast version they added long notes she didn’t sing at the moment itself, wich make it look like she was lipsyncing wich she was not.

Yes you’re right I watched an amateur recording and he vocals were good, maybe she just didn’t want a Eurovision situation again. 
I really hope though we are getting a tour film release, Rio was good for what it was but it’s not good enough to have as the only pro footage for this amazing tour.

I agree. The tour was so much better in arena's. I hope we get a mix of the first 4 London shows for the vocals, especially the 15 and 18 oct dates. Mixed with Mexico footage, because the energie from the audience was insane there, so good. And some L.A bits should be in it as well.  Imo that would be the perfect tour release 🥰

If they went out of their way to edit her vocals (with 15 min delay) for the RIO, then there is no doubt they are going to edit the fuck out of vocals for the concert film. My guess it's going to be more like this RIO broadcast then any fan recording/live experience.  I'm already imagining the melt downs.  LOL!

I had goosebumps too. It was a beautiful moment in the show, and crazy to see how many people she knew personally who dealt with this terrible, terrible affliction. I know she didn’t know everyone in the montage, but there were many who were close to her who died. I can’t imagine what it was like for her to go through that. Or the people who suffered from it along with their families.  It seemed like she was processing it all over again in every performance. Martin and Christopher, her dance teacher, especially got to me because I knew how much they meant to her.

If they can use fan recordings they might as well also can hire some fans for her team. There are fans out there who are really talented with editings and would actually put efforts into their work instead of the lazy ppl around her rn.

The editing on that upload is awful. Too many cuts and ruins the vibe. It’s like the person/people who edited never watched the show or had any clue what the experience was like. Ugh.

This thread was one of three posted nearly at the same time today. This one got first dibs being @PedroNNA posted about it first. The other ones were specifically titled to the video upload, but merged here. Maybe Pedro can amend the title at some point to include the title of song performance.  Though it seems the point of the upload was because of Worlds Aid Day.

Anyway, I think this was a montage put together in less than half an hour. They probably didn’t care about making it perfect; what mattered was posting it for World AIDS Day, which is a nice thing to do.

I do hope the final montage will be different, especially the audio. The Rio audio is truly awful—it really sounds like it was done with AI.

Looks ridiculous tbh why fans videos??? Why not releasing the official recording??? I’m just sooo over her team at this point. 💀
