Thank you Adonna!!

I can’t wait to see the filmed version, hopefully they have more live vocals. I loved Madame X but certain songs didn’t sound as live as in person. Extreme Occident and Frozen felt much more powerful in person because of that!

Agreed!  That's one thing I'm a bit disappointed with the audio from this tour, she relied way too much on the backing track. While there were times she was clearly singing live, many times it was hard to hear the live vocals because the backing track was louder than her.  There were some songs where one minute you could clearly hear her live and then in the next, her vocals were overpowered by the backing track.

Yes…. Although it varied from show to show I think. I didn’t really think much about live vocals or the lack of band at the show when I saw it irl as I was too immersed in the whole experience. But looking at clips it is true.

Madame X she impressed with vocals on some songs. People say that had backing tracks too, and it did, but it felt more live generally. That song for Gaspers grandmother was an unexpected highlight!

It will be interesting to see if she goes back to more live instruments next tour or if this no band thing will become standard for her.

I would love for her to go back to "live instruments" and a band.  I keep going back to Girlie Show because that was just perfect.  Her vocals were really on point and the band was perfect.  The next time I felt like her vocals were on point was Confessions Tour even though I know a lot of it was dubbed and the band wasn't the same. Still, I didn't feel like she was singing along with a vocal tracks.

I think our only hope for that these days may be a show with minimal choreography. Performances like Borderline on Fallon could work well for her if she did another hits show but with more spontaneity, changing tracklists each night and so on. I’m not sure that Madonna herself would be interested in doing that though?

The Girlie Show was her peak in terms of vocals, arrangements and music creativity!

I couldn't watch it @BLUE JEAN, here in Italy it was dinner time on a saturady night, but I read the comments and you know how I always respected your work, congrats then!!

At times, I get why she wants to sound perfect. But it seems with last few tours, the audio seems to be more reliant on her singing to a vocal track.. doubling the vocal.  It just doesn't sound great. It's like someone singing over the car radio at times. I don't believe her live and raw vocals are that bad to hide.  To me, sometimes adding those vocal effects just makes her sound worse.

It was a fantastic edit despite the lagging of the stream.  I hope @BLUE JEAN will offer it for download because that's how it should be screened without the technical issues that are the fault of the service being used.

Re - Backing track - I feel like it might have been used more this time due to her health issues - and stamina - so dancing and singing vs just dancing and lip syncing much easier to do.

I don't buy that because she's been using it for previous tours. Also, the backing tracks are usually new recordings to actually sound like her more currently.  I think it was meant from the concpetion of the tour because even Stuart mentioned that they wanted to create a concert where the songs sounded as closed to the original recordings.
