Cool! But streaming feels so weird to me…

I swear I always see people using or referencing Hung Up more than Popular, but the second one is somehow bigger? It's so confusing to measure the size of a hit these days…

Great song tho! Hope she and Abel could work together again, even if it's not in the form of a collab. He really understands her well sonically!

Young kids are listening to Popular. They aren't listening to Hung up

Younger kids are listening to The Weeknd, not Madonna.

It could’ve been any female added like rent-a-rappers.

I feel offended:cry:

(don't worry I know that y'all both are referring to the mayority, but please get ready for the yapping...)

I'm just joking but still I am not from the US (have went many times) but I listen to mainly Madonna at least since 2022 since I used to listen way more to Lady Gaga than Madonna at the time but Finally Enough Love got me in

I know that I'm the minority of those who listen to her right now since her team can't connect to younger gens but i guess I'm one of the few

I really don't understand the hype surrounding this song. I don't even consider it like a Madonna song

The streaming #’s are great, but I’d be happier if it were an actual Madonna song.

Ive listened to the track twice and its just not memorable to me, but plenty seem to love it.

Well, for one, it's a The Weeknd song.  If you're not a fan of his work, then I can understand why it's not interesting to some.  Secondly, Madonna is part of it, whether some like it or not.  I guess I prefer the positive effect it's had on her and her streaming catalog. A lot of people really like the song, and many who aren't familiar with her are saying positive things about her.  But of course it's easy to think the opposite when you see some who keep repeating over and over how much they do not like it.  Whatever the opinion, it doesn't negate the fact that this is a huge song and at this point in Madonna's career, I welcome any enjoyable song whether it's penned by her or not, to be successful and highlight she was part of it.  We must face the facts, anything she does on the SOLO front will never receive the massive attention she used to get, but if she teams up with someone more current, she will possibly spotlighted which does help her back catalog.  Any little positive success is good, so why fight it?

It's curious that Madonna never sang this song live during her Celebration Tour. Would she be forbidden to do so? On the other hand, I see these astronomical figures of billions of reproductions which would make anyone think that this song is recognized worldwide (from Antarctica to the most inaccessible corners of the African jungle) but the truth is that in Latin America they didn't even know about the existence of a song. It is contradictory to analyze this detail of astronomical figures because they are not always synonymous with a song being recognized and having a global impact.

Bait used to be believable.
