Just saw this out of nowhere and it seems to be a good remaster of the Like a Virgin video used for the Spotify Canvas of the remastered EP:

Not really withdrawing. This is the same case as Fever and Rain where we got to see the remastered video as a Spotify Canvas before it is finally shown on YouTube.

I guess I should have asked if this "remastering" is indicative to what is uploaded to her official accounts?  I just wondered if this was just some random upscale done by some random person added to Canvas?

Yes, most likely the remastered video will be reflected onto her YouTube channel soon. :)

Well, then I suspect, an official upload may happen soon being that December 22nd, 1985 was when LIKE A VIRGIN first hit #1 on Billboard Hot 100 and lasted for 6 weeks. It's a pretty landmark moment.  They may tie that accomplishment in with that upgrade.  :)

I didn't say it was going to happen.  Just stating a possibility being the song is her first #1, and it's a landmark moment in her career.  We have evidence the video is upscaled and we're just a week from the anniversary of that landmark moment.  Whether that actually happens, I guess we'll just have to wait and see.  #soon. :laughing:

I wonder if the reason why that video has never looked good is because it was shot on film, and what we've had all this time is the telecine that was done in the 80's (and probably what was upscaled using AI in this case)...

If that's the case, and they still have the original film reels, even if it was not mastered/edited on film, it would still be one of the easiest in her videography to reedit from scratch... no special effects, nothing like that...

That can be said for many of her videos. 

No one seems to care to put in any effort in doing any of that. It's a shame.
