In your opinion, which Madonna movie is her most "iconic" and the one movie people will remember the most?

I think that one movie is Evita? I think "A League Of Their Own" would be most remembered as well. But, in the end I'll choose Evita. It's funny how a lot of people say Madonna can't act and she definitely isn't the best actress, and yet, she's made a big mark in the movies of our time...even in a legendary way.

Evita to the general public

Who's That Girl for me, its so bad it becomes great and iconic if that makes any sense 😅 And i love Causing a Commotion and Who's That Girl ( song) underrated classics... oh and The Look of Love is also beautiful ofcourse 🥰...

I love that movie and those songs too!!! Especially this one....

But as a young kid who thought she ozzed cuteness and sexiness to the max. This film  affected me deeply and profoundly.  :04:

I actually loved this film. Of course, her acting is pretty wooden, and the plot was very much what Sharon Stone already did, but it still kept me interested and entertained, and not just for the sex scenes either. LOL!  I think the plot was better than Shanghai Surprise and Who's That Girl, even though WTG will go down as my favorite.

I would agree, DSS and EVITA will always be spotlighted as her best films.  It's just both of them sorta bored me.  But of course, there are some great moments in both.

DSS and Evita - although not technically a move ToD is probably the ultimate.

I think cinephiles will say DSS and ToD.

The great public will say Evita, more because of its impact with the promo and it being an iconic role than for the movie itself that is a bore to sit through...and because it got praises, the great public only remember the validation.

In the US it's definitely ALOTO because it's a classic there independently of Madonna.

Desperately Seeking Susan and Evita.

A League of Their Own is also a classic, but I don't think the general public associates it with Madonna as much as her other movies

I have to agree.  ALOTO will always be remember as a big film, but I don't believe Madonna will be the one remembered in that movie.  In fact, I think some people would be surprised she's in it, as time goes on and of those who weren't aware she was part of it.

Also, I think as time goes by, people will probably remember her less and less for her movie roles, and will be mostly known for her music and being a huge entertainer.  That of course, if she doesn't change direction again and begin doing more films again.  I wouldn't mind, but she really hasn't proven to me to be a great actress.  Truth Or Dare as @ChrisKpointed out Truth or Dare will probably be the film most will keep referencing throughout the rest of her career and long after she's gone.
