I've just been watching this for the first time and it got me thinking. I must admit, I know everyone loves the glamour, theatrics and emotion of Madonna's live shows.... But I'd really happily throw all that to one side and have a less rigorously choreographed, stripped down show. I'd love a live show by Madonna where there's a bit of room to manoeuvre, shake the set list up from time to time and throw in a surprise. Don't get me wrong, I'm not dissing the way she does live shows, I think they are spectacular, but sometimes it just feels a little too regimented and detached.
