No shit. When she said “usually on Epix” she was just talking about past concert releases (MDNa was on Epix.) Epix doesn’t even exist anymore, it became MGM+. Another Drowned Madonna “exclusive”

It'l probably end up with a BAT situation: one tour movie featuring behind the scenes shots and glances from different countries (costume changes, ball guests...) and the more regular TV broadcast from Rio, slightly re-edited for better transitions.

Actually for the 2003 - 2007 period was really the more kaballah heavy period in the sense she was preaching and preaching, and Confesions is a Kabalah album disguised as a fun album in order to gain popularity again but keep the preaching LOL.
Even though it seems ROL might be most kabalah inspired one, I don´t think so, cause it was more introspective than preaching one. And music might be the one more free of that preaching of those 4 albums.

Well, If her plan to make a her biopic fails again, then there's possiblitiy she will tour again. Or, on the contrary, she may tour again if she makes a good movie and the movie becomes a box office hit.
 

Because I’d imagine getting that show on a major streamer could possibly generate a good amount of interest from general public viewers and casual fans, which is definitely a good thing. Especially considering what a big deal that show was. I’d hope they’d give it a nice, cleaner re-edit but overall I don’t think it’s that bad.
A proper tour film is nice and all for fans but it’ll likely primarily be watched by just fans. Especially if it does end up on some flop service like Epix. That’s sort of embarrassing when gaga and taylor can get theirs on disney+ or max.

Exactly. I know she was engrossed in Kaballah for a few albums, but I enjoyed the output very much at the time.  We all evolve and our inspired by things in our lives. I have no criticisms from those years.  We've all been there where we felt strongly about something and used it as our muse.  We all re-evaluate those times as years go on, depending on where our journey takes us. It's all part of life. At the end of the day, she's still healthy and alive.  Whatever works for her, is fine by me.  It doesn't mean I believe everything she puts out there works best for others. We have to do what works for us.

I was going to say that whatever Kabbalah took away from her (money?) she also used them A LOT for her own benefit and it inspired a lot of her work. And “ROL” promo was all 50% new mum, 50% spirituality. In the first, first album interviews (late 1997, early 1998) she wasn’t that much into talking about the whole Kabbalah thing but once she saw with journalists it had become a big key selling point for the album and for herself, suddenly she was all Mother Earth.
And people loved it.
So who used who really?
