What does making a biopic have to do with new music? Before it all comes to fruition and goes to theaters, Madonna can release two new albums.

Everyone saying they don't want this will be seated in the theatre / cinema when this is finally released. No one likes a whiner

I told y'all months ago she was gonna start filming after the tour 

She just gave us her (probably) biggest and best tour ever. We could have never expected something like that at this point.
So if she wants to go and finally make her movie, and it makes sense she wants to cause it's her baby, her legacy and she's now physically and mentally healthy to do it plus her public image hadn't been this good in AGES thanks to the tour, then let's let her do it and support her. (Not that we have a choice anyway xd)
Also, if she has new music ready to go we can still get singles in between, collaborations, the infamous expanded editions, whatever.
The possibilities are endless.
As always, let's wait and see.

Good for her to start her movie. I'm definitely looking forward to it. And it was obvious that it was eventually going to happen one way or another. The fact that it will follow the tour makes complete sense. As someone said, as a legacy artist now, there probably is more they can do for her legacy than a new album that would just be geared to the hardcore fans (that of course, we all eventually want, and I'm sure will eventually get).
 
ps. and as for saying none of the films she's acted in are worth watching (for whatever various reasons) - BULL. Desperately Seeking Susan, Dick Tracy, A League Of Their Own, Dangerous Game (Snake Eyes), and Evita absolutely say otherwise. Her own film, W.E., is also a beautiful film. And dare I say she even shines in "Who's That Girl", where her unlikely strength in comedy actually shines.
 
That sounds like a great idea to me. New music inspired by the story of her life. I'm all for it.

While I’m looking forward to the fanfare I expect the MJ one will be fluff. A film that ignores the actual story and makes him out to be a saint.
Madonna’s will hopefully be a lot edgier and unique.

We know she does things differently and while the main attraction of the movie is the hits she could be cooking something different. Like the Dick Tracy soundtrack album. 
That could explain so many recording session rumors

In a WhatsApp message leaked to the news website Metrópoles, the senator blamed his Madonna-adoring wife for making him attend the concert and justified his decision to go by claiming their marriage was going through a “terrible” patch.

I think the standart one. We already have pro footage of Rio. Id love to see the proper version of the tour on professional cameras. I wanna see my btch fly while singing ray of light!

I rather think the perfect scenerio would be to:
1. Keep video from the Globo feed (13,9 GB), we have less logos.
2. Replace ONLY the sound from the 8,08 GB Torrent on Rutracker which has 5.1 Dolby Digital Audio and is not dubbed.

Is anyone else already on to replacing the 1080i stream with undubbed sound?
If not, I can do it + de-interlace the video (so it's 1080p instead).
Interlace is basically only used for linear broadcasting these days and will just look murky on most of our streams and playback sessions

This is EXACTLY how I feel.
It was amazing to watch, an utterly defining moment in her entire career, and the perfect way to end this tour...
But, I still want a proper, cinematic tour film for multiple reasons - one that captures the entire production as intended by Madonna, the designers, and the entire team, as well as a richer version of the overall sound - with that thumping BASS that was sorely missing. The broadcast, while wonderful, was missing a lot of the extra lighting rigs that provide so much more illumination for the overall show (when seen in person), as well as the great production elements like the flying portal. As well as getting better key angles, as the live feed missed a lot of the action spread out over the stages.
Other than that, it's great to have as an additional pro-feed to watch, and as for her... GOD BLESS HER. She rose back like the phoenix she is.
Long live the one, true QUEEN.
