ANYWAY, she always releases albums in oct/nov or march/april.....I'd be surprised (maybe thats the point though) if she releases anything outside these time frames.

Since she has recorded so many tracks...how about a track she releases a track she knows won't make the cut a la Kylie's "Skirt"?

This all reminds me of Ray of Light....I remember everyone thought it'd be out fall of '97 & she kept working on it & it resulted in the masterpiece it was.  But then she seemed to shit out Confessions & Like A Prayer rather quickly.  I guess it's just ready when its ready & some things take longer.  MDNA would've been a much stronger album if it had that Huge lead single that it lacked, along with some other changes (flush superstar down the toilet).  Maybe if she hadn't had to get back on tour (as per her contract I'm sure) she would've kept working on MDNA.

If we don't get the album this year at least give us a fuckin single to keep us hyped

I'm sure the word 'bitch' can be bleeped out if radio wanna play it. But Clear Channel radio stations in USA and Radio 1 most likely won't play any songs she releases these days due to ageism. 

So I'm guessing Unapologetic Bitch/Bitch, I'm Madonna, with the description as reggae & "aggressive dancehall" as per another post, might have a Run The World (Girls) sound as diplo produced that track as well.  I hope it doesn't sound too similar in style or it'll be seen as copying off Beyonce.

Here's a thought.....maybe there isn't an announcement coming just yet cuz its gonna be a kind of quasi-Beyonce thing where there'll be an announcement that the single, first video, album will all drop at the same time a week later and there'll be some promo event to coincide with it and some sort of big countdown campaign.
 
JUST an idea.  Would be interesting and different than her typical album rollout that's been the same for basically her entire career (album press release, followed by radio/video premiere, followed by single release, followed by album release 1-2 months later.

hopefully it means that and/or finalizing the track list. hope we get some official announcement soon.

why do people think Art For Freedom is a song title?  I know she's been hash tagging it, but I'm pretty sure that was just referring to the art for freedom project that she's been doing which she said her new album would be connected with.  Could be, but I think people are reading way too much into hashtags.

I hope she doesn't waste the water.  She should just make a video of her writing a check for a grand for an ALS charity and make every one look stupid!

- Album artwork most likely to be shot in the next 2 weeks.
- MV to be shot in mid September
- First single to be released in late September/early October [approx. 6-8 weeks before the album release]
- Album to be released earliest in November and latest in early December
- Tour rehearsal begins in the new year [2015] after Christmas & holiday break 

I don't think lyric videos cost more than a couple grand for most of them.  Look at the GGW lyric vid.  Madonna could just look for change in a couple of her couches to cover the cost of that.  She could even have the kids look for her while she's getting her hur did.

They matter because they create social presence for the songs and in turn expectation for the official music videos if people like them. I really doubt those videos are expensive to make let alone take budget from a music video, it just requires minimal creative effort. They keep people interested in the "era" which is important for the success of an album and singles, and they can win awards too which is never a bad thing.
 
Now that it's mostly digital I think the lyric videos are taking the place of the single artworks a bit.
