Uhh am I the only one who finds it funny? Also, stupid questions get stupid answers! I haven't been following this topic closely but will add my 2 cents. I have always felt that Madonna has done a very poor job of preserving and promoting her gigantic musical legacy. Her music has rarely been included in compilations over the years, it's not played much on radio or music services, she hasn't released her hugely famous early concerts on DVD or blu-ray and she hasn't released super deluxe version of her albums.  We all know there is a massive  amount of audio and video material in the vault but she has missed every significant anniversary and opportunity to release some of it. She also hasn't allowed anyone to make a Netflix style documentary about her like we have seen for so many other artists from her era. I'm guessing this is all related to her famous disregard for the past and her being a massive control freak but it really is a shame because it might almost be too late for some of this now.  I really hope she does because the clock is ticking and she really deserves to be reappraised and seriously appreciated by the mainstream while she is still alive. 

I still have hope for Like A Virgin 40th Anniversary this year.. 
I understand that plans may have changed with the Selftitled album last year (M getting sick) but there are really not any excuses if they'll miss LAV..
If they do they truly made fool of us.... 
 

That’s not strictly true. M was involved in all aspects of putting that project together. She spent some time in the studio with Mike Dean and Honey Dijon selecting her favourite remixes, which is what ended up on the album. FEL was her first curated project meaning she produced the album and curated the track list. American Life Mix Show was the second curated project from M herself. Some of the tracks on the EP are brand new edits too! 

The rule change allowed for songs that were not released as singles to be able to appear on the chart, as far as I can remember reading.
Either way, I think Nothing Really Matters could have done really well if the entire release schedule wasn’t so odd. In general, throughout the entire ROL campaign, Warner tried to push the album sales more than the singles because they didn’t believe that Madonna would still be able to get big hit singles.

Because she was already seen as veteran and she was competing with new teen stars, she was 40, and experimental and hard album like ROL already had 3 big hits so it just got lost...

This looks like her original idea for her tour as she is still recording her album. Many artists including Madonna think about how to tour while recording an album.

My favorite is the Video Version & Mike Dean did a beautiful job remastering everything on FEL.

FEL was an expanded collection of hits - some released for the first time digitally and some previous promo only mixes.
It was re released a year later as part of Pride hence the rainbow vinyl’s.

They could start uploading her albums in Dolby Atmos as well. It would boost her streamings.

I got the information of the desire to film in Columbia via some fans in attendance to various shows and their talks with Guy. The Paris shoot, as I'm sure you know, it fairly well known except for the reason why it was axed, so that I included was just a popular rumor. I don't quite remember the name of the director M really wanted to work with, but he said somewhere the reasoning behind moving to Miami. And the rest, as they say, is history  I have actually been working on this post for about a week and a half. I studied up a lot of information about the film and the process of making it. I wanted to present as many facts that were reliable as possible. If I discover something in there isn't accurate, then I will amend it. The things we do for M haha
