IGTTYAS, hands down. that one sounds out of this world. i still remember the feeling i got the first time i played it in my headphones.
though it's mostly fake i love how S&S sounds as well. they've never managed to replicate it after that.

We can clearly imagine they corrected some possible failures in her voice but the audio we have from the official release sounds extremely genuine to me. I don't see it as a "redone" thing like S&S.

Actually "The Virgin Tour" is such a perfect mix and sounds completely real and live even though it's not. We only need to compare the bootlegs or news footage videos with the final product.
She's been tweaking her live releases since day one and we love a perfectionist queen.

It's Confessions for me. I'd rather listen to the remixed version of Erotica than the original.

Yeah but I forgave that cause her voice was horrendous during that tour. But the vocals, crowd noise, and music all blend together perfectly at the same level. 

Sticky & Sweet Tour for me. It's perfectly mixed. 
MDNA and RHT sounded atrocious with the (fake) overly loud crowd noise. 

I wanna know from y'all: what's the gold standard for a Madonna live audio in terms of mixing?
Personally, it is a tie between Confessions Tour (stereo version) and the Madame X Live film. They sound incredible and gives so much depth to the songs performed.
The 5.1 surround sound version of Confessions Tour was an incredible let down because it lacked so much bass. I think someone forgot to crack it up when mixing it.

I really like the mixing we got for the S&S tour. Even though her vocals are almost entirely not from the show, they did it very well. If you consider the video, her mouth follows the audio perfectly, which doesn’t happen on the MDNA, RHT, and MXT editions.
Going back to the audio, S&S blended the vocals, band, and audience perfectly. I also love the Confessions Tour. Her vocals aren’t entirely real there either, but they sound much more authentic compared to MDNA and RHT. In those, she sounded like she had smoked 1,000 cigarettes before the show, and I will never understand why it was like that. Plus, there is the annoying and overly fake crowd noise.
From these recent releases, MX was my favorite because they at least reduced the annoying autotune that she used throughout almost the entire show. When you watch or listen to the official release, you can hear her voice in a purer form during most of the performance. Also, I don't think the crowd noise is overdone on MX.

Hey, guys.
 
I didn't know this audience recording from the Who's That Girl Tour in San Francisco untill last week, but it sounds really amazing! There some small defects (such as the recorder bumping, the beggining of Dress You Up is missing etc), so I edited everything to make them less noticeable and improved the audio. If it wasn't for people screaming and clapping near it, we could even think this would be a radio broadcast or something like that.

I suggest for next tour we do a crowdfunding and buy the rights for a live tv broadcast, like Turin and Barcelona in the good ol' days, so we don't have to wait.

 
 

At this rate it will arrive at half past NEVER.?
Nobody but us die hard's are going to buy it and the general public really isn't interested in a year old tour. This should not be taking so long. Its ridiculous. The Girlie Show came out 6 months after the Tour. Drowned World was about 8 months. We cant even get The Confessions Tour In HD and it was Filmed In HD, Just whack it on iMovie's or so other platform and charge 20 bucks. Its Such Easy Money and she doesn't even have to do anything but sign the paperwork.?‍♂️
 
 

Maybe this is the calm before the storm... Gosh, I can't wait for all the fan meltdowns when we finally watch it but don't like the results 

She probably wants her fans to relive the emotion of the late starts
