You don't need permission to release a cover or perform it live if you pay the writers and/or get a license. That's if it's a download store, if it's streaming you don't need at all.

You can cover "Vogue" today and upload it tomorrow if you want. It won't be taken down.
But you can not sample "Vogue" in your own song. Samples in derivative works are another story. You usually need the owner permission to do it. And of course for using the original song in ads, movies, series, etc.
Do your homework and properly learn about it before trying to correct information from others. Copyright is a complex thing.

I’m a huge Madonna fan but sorry, regarding dancing of female performers no one beats Janet Jackson even until these days. Her stamina its awesome. Madonna its the greatest of them all in every single aspect but dancing.

As some of you know I've been working on this mix for quite some time. And this holiday season has been so incredibly busy, but I finally finished it. And honestly it would not have been able to be done without the efforts of @Kosmmik and his great mix.  I added a touch of me and what I hear when I listen to the fan recordings. I hope you all enjoy and PLEASE, I welcome any constructive criticism to change/adjust things to make it perfect.

Ironically, Kylie is a "great" live singer because she makes the most out of what she has... a thin voice, but she knows how to use it live.. she does not have a good/great voice, but she is good at singing with the voice that she has. Madonna could have done much more with the voice that she has.

What censorship laws?!  The ONLY time  concert venue curfews are a problem is when Madonna tours here and she cannot start on time. It has been like this since MDNA. It's not the venue's fault, or the UK's fault, it's Madonna and her team's fault. They know exactly what needs to be done.
Why they are having technical issues moments before the show starts and during it is a mystery. They've been rehearsing this for months!  If this show started at 8pm she'd have a whole hour to play with if something goes wrong, instead of having to cut songs.

So for some reason, I'm obsessed with the rock-ish style of Medellin performed recently at Maluma's concert.  I'm no edit expert whatsoever, but I loved the mix enough to sort of mesh the album version into a guitar cam soundboard of the live performance.  So here's my mashup

Just now, I was listening to the MDNA Tour Live Album and I keep reminding myself how horrible the mixing and editing is. I don't know who the fuck approved of this because they must have lost their hearing upon listening to the final mixes. It was such a disappointing mix because the tour was spectacular so of course, we wanted a release that would justify it.
Don't even get me started with the video portion. Just no.
That is why despite of me being busy and shit in college, I am perhaps thinking of fixing the MDNA Tour Live Album using all the leaks that @PanditaRulez and the rest of y'all shared. My goal is to capture the grandeur of the tour through editing, tweaking and replacing some aspects to make the live album sound better. I am going to use the rough mix of the live album as my guide since it slightly sounds better without all that fucking fake ass crowd noise overshadowing the songs.
So far, I have created a demo mix for the first part of Gang Bang using the mic feed leaked and Papa Don't Preach but without the choir in the chorus. I shared it in our Discord but I will share the WAV versions here.
This MIGHT be a work in progress. If you wish to help me, that would be great. :D

I don't usually talk about her face, because I think it's not the most important thing to talk about Madonna but... I hate when people talks about getting old with dignity... What is getting old with dignity? I mean, for me dignity has nothing to do with our body, is deeper than that. Yeah, she uses filters, fillers and all those things but where's the problem?
I mean... I have a "good" paunch but when I buy a T-shirt (for example) I don't like it to be very  tight. Should I have to hear things like "You're fat!!! Have some dignity and go tight"?
EVERYBODY have "problems" with their bodies (bigger or smaller) and for example when we dress we buy clothes that make us look taller or smaller than what we are, fatter or thiner... We use make up, or jewels, tatoos, we go to gyms just to look closer to what we want or like to be.
Madonna is a public person yeah, but it doesn't mean that she belongs to us. She can do what she wants with her body and her faces and of course you can like it or not. I don't like her hair so long (I never liked how she looked on the Brits Awards when she sang "Bedtime story") but is her hair.
For me, getting older with dignity is learn to respect the others, learn that all of us are free to do what we want as long as it doesn't hurt others and most of all learn that judge other people is what we don't want people to do with us. Dignity has nothing to do with how your face look.

I agree with the people who say the likes of Britney, Kylie, Rihanna etc aren't on the same level as other artists. I always say I consider them entertainers (and I love them btw), but to me an artist is someone who expresses themselves through music, or words or other types of media. If you don't write your own songs (pretty much ever) and don't make your own choices about sound and visuals then you're just presenting other people's art. But it's fine, they are talented entertainers. I mean, Cher and Celine don't make their own art either and they're still very enjoyable and loved. 

Ok, I'm gonna be the second - I guess - unpopular one. For me, it is a pain, how overrated and over-mistified Confessions is. It was and is a great album and it was a very strong era speaking of image and style. But other than that it is simply high quality retrodisco, nothing else... so for me it is the most overrated one. As for underrated - I guess it is up to anybody, and it depends on when you become a fan. My fandom started in 1996 with Evita, and for me, the most underrated record is American Life, but yeah, for today Music is also a bit forgetten, compared to Ray of Light e.g. But it is only a massive private opinion,  nothing more - of course I love all her legacy, some more, some a bit less (yeah, poor MDNA, I'm sorry...)

This is so infinitely depressing. Despite all her achievements, all her hard work and talent, her behaviour and work are still being viewed by some through the prism of the men in her life ("things went down hill after the divorce") or her appearance (tummy, ass, cheeks or whatever else we're dissecting on any given day). I think this release is going great at least in the US. And honestly…. EPIX and SHOWTIME were not bigger…. She’s getting a lot of promotion this time worldwide even though it seems a little bit difficult to find a way to watch the show. But to be honest, at least paramount have some focus on her, Netflix has so many things that I wouldn’t expect much promo for Madonna.
