I've just been watching the Disney + doc about Vogue in the 90's.  Talk about Madonna features quite a lot. I had no idea Anna put her on the cover not long after joining the magazine and one of the 1st times they used a "celeb" rather than a model and it changed the mag forever.

Best period in look terms EVER!!! I repeat myself as I already wrote this but, really, when I listen to BS I always dream of her with that hair, or the whole dark ones, in black leather jacket with the bandana and the big dark glasses recording songs like Secret, Inside of me or Love tried to welcome me. We almost had a visual glimpse of it in the Human Nature video  ... that we actually all lovelovelove!

That Wayne Maser shoot for Esquire is hot as fuck and one of my all-time faves.

I do think the dichotomy (or maybe balance is a better word) when discussing issues like this is really interesting when considering the way body dysmorphia and beauty standards affect a public figure, while still accepting that as a public figure they are also responsible for perpetuating the same standards.

I dislike her clothes on  2021 VMAs, the Madame X days was horrible in general to me, and at the VMAs she was a bit too much vulgar, her hairstyle was so tired and boring too
Funny that a think she was on point on Billboard Awards 2013 when she got the ultra sexy look too

 

I do think this padding for when she’s sitting on the floor.. call me crazy but she doesn’t look like this in any part of the show except here. 
It might be that she has lost a lot of weight and she doesn’t look like this with other garments 👀

When I saw the Stonewall appearance, I assumed it was just some padding, but once I saw it in fishnets at the ‘21 VMAs I was alarmed!

It seems to look okay when there’s fabric draped over it but in anything skintight the proportions are off. Like the Versace bodysuit on the Celebration tour. Looks great from the front, but from the side… 👀
