No, but then again I doubt she could do my job for a 13 hour night shifts in a busy hospital either... and I'm always on time.
And no, that staging excuse is bullshit. It's a basic cheap stage compared to other major tours.

Everyone else gets on stage on time.
Gaga (ew), Celine, Kylie, Selena, J-Lo, Ariana, Janet (urgh), Mariah...
All on time for their show.

Its simply her attitude towards the audience. She isn't doing anything extra, isn't performing to a better standard than the others. She's doing exactly the same, three hours late.

I completely agree with you i'm a die hard fan followed her for 30 years and it upsets me that she has now started to behave like this with out any second thought at all for her fans and the people that have supported her for so long, it seems like she is tarnishing her own legacy and losing the respect she so rightly deserves as an artist and that upsets me as fan,i'm finding it hard to justify her behavior to people who know I love her purely because it is unacceptable.  Some of us fans are worried about her career and her commercial success because I never ever would think Madonna would have issues selling out arena's, stadiums let alone theatre's. It's amazing to see the GP enjoying Kylie and Cher Tours I want that for Madonna again but don't think it will happen unless she changes this Bitch I'm Madonna attitude.
I hope I dont get attacked now with the usual comments 'well don't go and see her', 'trust a Kylie or Cher fan' 'you're a troll' 'you can't be a real fan'
trust me I'm a Madonna fan through and through

Lazy and cheap sounding "reinterpretations" of oldies
Almost exclusively songs from Rebel Heart and the 80s...the 90s and 00s were ignored almost entirely yet she decided to dg out almost every fucking single from her worst 80s album (LAV).
The show didn't match up to the intro at all...it was too cutesy and too light-hearted for a show that seemed to have been originally conceived as way darker and more political (like the album itself).
The album was one of her best in a long time and had a great concept and story attached t it, the tour failed to transport any of that into the show and instead seemed like a mixed bag of rehashed ideas scrambled together into a show that was not cohesive in any way. The song selection within the sections was beyond terrible and random? Candy Shop was performed AGAIN. A lot of the tour versions sounded like watered down album versions and Holiday was the most bland, unnecessary version she has ever done of it.
All in all, this show had exactly one purpose: to please casual fans and to have a DVD that would sell well (due to the amount of 80s songs in it).

    * Except 'Beautiful Stranger' her collaboration with William Orbit only works when his producing others composers' work.
    * Jellybean, Stephen Bray and Shep Pettibone are just as important collaborators in her portfolio as is Patrick Leonard.
    * Other than 'Like a Virgin' and 'Material Girl' her 85 boom to superstardom was only achieved because of outiside material as 'Into the Groove' and 'Crazy for You'.
    * A) She should have hired Jellybean and Stephen Bray to work on 'Like a Virgin'. B)  Her work with them around that time (ITG, CFY, Gambler and Sidewalk Talk) aged better than what's on the album.
    * I Rise is the worst choice ever for ending a show.
    * Kevin Antunes is the worst thing that happened to her tours.

Some of you get really defensive since. Madonna is a product, a brand. We are discussing a brand.

if you don’t like discussion on the workings of said brand, don’t join a forum.

oh and believe me, me and digital freak aren’t the same person. Separate sides of the Atlantic I’m afraid.
nice guy, (guy?), intelligent, strong minded. Quite respect the chap for his persistence in speaking about what he believes, but we aren’t the same person.

so yeah, theory dead. I was a member of Tribe since 2007 but requested my account disabling in July of this year due to growing tired of sycophants, and other members growing tired of my opinions, lmao.

Certainly some tickets will sell, but there's no way on God's green earth will they sell bucketloads, not without massive reductions... I mean, sense would surely be to cancel a few shows and move concert-goers into the empty seats on other shows?
It's quite telling just how much people (and not just the GP) are willing to pay looking at how the cheap seats have all gone.

Sorry, but they are really messing up this time ... and in theory it's the most famous popstar in the world we're talking about. There are people who can't change the dates of their shows, this is not serious ... she's playing with fire, as we use to say in Italy. This, as the daily three hours delay to go on stage, is unacceptable.

Nice stuff everyone. Keep them coming.
I don't know if this is an unpopular opinion or not, but I feel like the material we've been seeing, official and unofficially, from Madame X Tour makes it look pretty underwhelming, which sort of explains why they had a phone ban. Also, the polaroid thing is very very humiliating to fans and to her own image. In addition, and I don't think this is unpopular, but her Instagram is a mess, most of her photos are unprofessional and pretty random or low quality and lack style. I wish she had a social media manager like that of Selena Gomez where every photo feels like a photoshoot from a magazine.

Personally I’d rather she just sing competently and live. She’s been singing for nearly 40 years, she should be able to sing live now... especially as she no longer dances much.
Sorry, but to me the show looks very, very cheap. I like the setlist, I like the versions of the songs used, love the outfits, like how relaxed she seems... but the vocals are either phoned in or over manipulated and that’s sad. They should be the very heart of the show.

The SEX interlude was the most disappointing interlude Madonna has ever done on tour. It had so much potential to be sexy and erotic but instead they slapped the Erotica video over the song. Messiah was also missed potential to do something beautiful and unique with its imagery but Ghosttown's video was just slapped over the song as well. Rebel Heart was definitely a disappointing tour in terms of its theatrics and interludes.

Sorry I absolutely don't agree. This tour is already mainly for rich fans who can afford to travel and to buy expensive tickets.
If the selfie was not on sale but given for free to a lucky fan chosen in the audience we would ALL be entitled to win. Why do you have a chance to talk to M only if you have money? That is a terrible message to send.

    My unpopular opinions:
-I actually like most of her movies and I don't think her acting is *that* bad all the time. She deserved an Oscar nomination for Evita.
-I love the song Little Star.
    -Hard Candy isn't that bad.
-Bedtime Stories is one of her best albums. Secret is one of her best music videos.
-Like A Prayer's title track is great, but the rest of the album is
-I LOVE her children's books. They were a big part of my childhood and my introduction to Madonna.
-The 90's and 2000's were her best decades artistically. I don't listen to her 80's music very much, although I do have a few songs that I really like.
-She is always beautiful! There may be some looks of hers that others don't like, but I basically love and appreciate them all.

Madonna's studio vocals went "downhill" (lack of a better word) after COADF. Since 2008, it has been the same pitched-up, altered, robotic, nasally, granny-sounding vocals. Her lower register was last fully showcased on COADF. Since 2008, it was abandoned and only made an appearance on the verses in Ghosttown.
It's simply my own personal opinion and observation lol! I do wanna say Madonna possesses an amazing vocal range and vocal quality - if only she would focus on her lower registers and lower ranges. The Madame X Tour however is changing all that as we speak; the vocals on Crazy are phenomenal! So proud of her
