im 23 and ive been a madonna fan since 2010? lmao i was 14 and i still remember of how in love i was with her at the sticky & sweet tour dvd, the front cover of my notebook at school was a picture of her giving the middle finger during s&s round two lmao
 i dont know about you guys but im satisfied with the tour. OF COURSE I WOULD GIVE ANYTHING to see her performing songs like nothing really matters or even rescue me live, but come onnn!!! she literally added rescue me after the dude from billboard asked her to! even if its just an interlude, this is a very unique moment for all of us madonna fans.
and we're only three shows into the tour. the tour has more than 80 shows to go, SO MUCH can happen! she performed so many gems during rebel heart tour, and she rehearsed to many songs during the rehearsals for madame x tour... of course that doesnt prove anything (helloooooooooo hold on tight, how are ya doin!) but this is a whole other level concert that we're talking about. madonna is all about reinvention, and i can feel that madame x still has a lot to show. madonna herself said that the show wasnt complete lmao
what we need to do is trust her and her vision more. from what we have seen (videos, pics and even the full audio of the opening night) this show is just UGH legendary. seriously. lets just wait and enjoy the ride, it could have been waaay more worse if she didnt tour at all lmao.

Does 21 count as young? And does becoming a major fan in 2017 count as new? With all due respect, you should try expanding your knowledge a bit. I've met many newer and younger Madonna fans who are just as hardcore as the older ones.  and quite frankly, there's no reason to disrespect anyone, on this site or not, unless they personally deserve it.

Yes but this always happens since she opened her instagram 6 years ago, so we should know better and not expect everything that's posted on her instagram to come true lol. 

Fans could cut down the insults, the tantrums and the entitlement and still have criticisms of her and the show. IDK why we gotta be so extreme....

Choreographer Damien Jalet describes the creative idea of the Frozen choreography in hommage to one of M's artistic mother, Martha Graham: "Through the song Lola evolves from a close, inward static position to free, twirling movements around her mother, like an energy coming out of her, finding freedom and emancipation though her moves. Madonna was studying modern dance at the current age of Lola. The two in some moments are like a mirror of each other."

but the setlist seems cool, nothing really matters would be amazing there too... it just fits the theatre atmosphere... it would be dope!

i also saw lolas backdrop for frozen and wowwwwwwwwwww, so amazing!

yesterday with my friend .. We won the dvd and a great poster in a fan club contest in Argentina, I still could not see it and I will do it in a while, I'm very happy

ok I just watched the released version side by side with the Showtime rip. i watched several songs and so far it is 100% the same editing, same shots, same everything. The only difference is that it's more contrasted. Unfortunately that means we lose some details as we can see in these screenshots, her black skirt during Holy Water is a good example here as you can't see the outline anymore because you can't distinguish it from the harsh black background. All the darker outfits and dark portions of the image lose a bit of detail due to the dark tones being harsh black on the final release. I thought the Showtime version had some beautiful natural dark tones that were not completely black and some beautiful lighter tones (like natural skin tone) that weren't harsh white which is  what happens to her skin in a few places on the final release.

This release overall is great considering how terrible The MDNA Tour film was (it bears repeating), and the contrast change was probably done as a quick fix to even out contrast differences among different shots. It's not that big a deal but it's not what I would've done to even things out tbh. Let's hope the next tour has shots of the same quality all throughout it at least.
