I was there yesterday afternoon around 6pm and they did an instrumental rehearsal, no vocals, and I think with someone who was not M. Open Your Heart and Holiday were there. They went from NRM to Hung Up, all complete songs from the setlist, and then there was a cut and I think they came back later but I had to leave before that.

I can't understand the logic behind the videos upscale. La Isla Bonita is her most watched video and a huge classic and they go and upscale Get Together... literally one of her most forgettable videos ever...

don't listen to the people repeating the same stereotype. you're not gonna be stabbed on the stairs coming off of the plane.

however:
do not bring to the concert anything you cannot lose (ie. passport) try to buy a small money belt, where you can put your phone and spare change and your credit card (do not bring multiple credit cards with you) if you get the money belt, put it inside your pants, not on the outside. do not walk with your phone around, if you need to use it, get inside a store. for the concert: when you want to record it or take pictures, use both hands or secure it with a strap to your wrist. just be aware of your surroundings and try to be around other people. enjoy Rio and enjoy the show!

hey everyone - I'm here again pouring my anxious heart for you all to see. I've updated my 3D model using the leaked official plan as a guideline.

the BIG question in my mind is: Where are they going to hang all the equipment for the lighting of the runways? you can see that in my model I've attached the main stage with the big steel pillars in front of the stage (like the Confessions Tour) - that would be enough to accomodate everything.

however: I've been following the live beach cam and the crew has yet to attach these pieces of the stage together, so I'm thinking its not gonna happen, since the stage has already arrived in Brazil and is scheduled to be setup starting tomorrow morning.

so... 6 days to go and we'll see how will they deal with the hanging fixtures.


 

If it's someone i hate i would recommend "Madame X"

it's the second comment I read regarding how unsafe and wild and sexual Brazil is.

guys, go read a book.

yes, Brazil has crime. yes, Brazil is known for its wild Carnival. but so does the US, and Folsom Street Fair.
the producers and the government have already stated MULTILPLE times that they will deploy extra police officers to the event and there will be facial recognition throughout the beach.

by NO MEANS, Brazil is the most violent country in the world. Brazilians live happy lives and are very optimistic, despite dealing with centuries of slavery and exploitation from europeans countries, so please, think long and hard before saying things that are very untrue.

As a Brazilian myself, I'm not even going to entertain the idea of replying to you, because I would probably be banned.
