This is what he played all three nights I saw him warm up at Miami! It's superb
According to @cosmic_system this was not the case in other venues so I was pretty lucky!!!

1.The Virgin Tour- gritty, sweaty and the set list was magic with soundtrack sprinklings of gambler,  crazy for you and into the groove. The over edited vhs release- not just cutting borderline but also her moaning on top of that boombox a la hung up from confessions before everybody-  didn’t do it justice.
2.Blond Ambition Tour - what we all probably think: the blueprint for all pop/rock tours from 1990 forward and a cultural flashpoint.
3.Re-invention Tour- those intense Steven Klein visuals during the beast within then yoga pose into vogue….I still think she could’ve sent everyone home after Vogue  and nobody would’ve felt cheated. However, I never pass up an impromptu nobody knows me performance on any airport moving walkways.
4.Confessions Tour- an amazing tour to support arguably her last artistically cohesive and truly commercially successful album. The opening equestrian disco ball fantasy…..
    5. The Celebration Tour- amazing production values & set list aside, it’s most punk rock shit she’s done in years. She’s still being political and acting really slutty after 40 years and it’s clear she’s not stopping any time soon. Loved it all except the too long and imo sort of cheesy MJ tribute.
    6. Who's that Girl Tour - my least favorite live experience bc my seats were shitty and venue too big but many great moments. I loved the video come to life version of Open your heart, lucky star, causing a commotion personal favorites from this tour.
    7. MDNA Tour- the girl gone wild opening & gang bang were bat shit crazy in a good way.
    8. The Girlie Show - the only tour I didn’t see live so maybe it would’ve been ranked higher. fever and express yourself are favorites from what I’ve seen on various releases.
    9. Drowned World Tour - her theatrical fuck you for those who came for the hits. I really loved substitute for love and what it feels like for a girl.
    10. Madame X Tour - she gets a gold star for surviving it. human nature and hearing her sing like a prayer after 1am were highlights.
    11. Rebel Heart Tour - Holywater/Vogue & love don’t live here anymore were my personal favorites. The opening was almost too game of thrones-ish.
    12. Sticky & Sweet Tour- imo the laziest opening of all her tours. Some great performances though.

glennyboy reacted to I am madonna in Celebration Tour : Fans' Review (spoiler welcome) with Very Special Information.
I can't believe that there's no celebration tour "fan's reviews" thread! It need own thread!
    OK I will start.
Only five shows are over, but I've already collected 25GB of Madonna tour videos.

    1. Celebration tour is Madonna version of musical Hadestown.
Ok, in my opinion this tour is her version of musical Hadestown. What is about musical hadestown? It is modernized version of greek myth of Orpheus and Eurydice. It shows the audience how he first met her, how he falling in love with her, how she died and went to hell, and what efforts he made to go down to hell and bring her to earth, and why he ended up failing.
This Celebration tour show her life to the audience How she got to New York, how she lived her life as a New Yorker, how she made artist friends, how those friends died of AIDS, how she got over it, how she was criticized by people for her erotica albums and sex books, and how she became a mother and etc,  through her songs in musical form.

    2. Bob the drag Queen's role in Celebration tour is Same as Hermes in musical Hadestown.
Who is Hermes? He is portrayed as the narrator of musical Hadestown. Starting from the opening, he continues to appear in the middle of the play, explaining the situation easily and concisely so that the audience can easily and clearly understand the story. And Bob the drag Queen's did same thing. Some people complain that his opening is unnecessary and say this. "I don't know why he would have to explain to the audience what we already knows" But you have to realize that there aren't only people in the audience who have been her fans for 40 years like us. And you have to admit that Bob's presence makes it clear to the audience that this tour is going through Madonna's life in musical form.

    3. A touching encounter with her past own ghosts.
When I first saw a dancers wearing a strange plastic mask on their face, I wondered why she had to make the dancers wear such weird plastic mask. But I realized it soon. It's not just a homage to past performances, it's an important scene that shows Madonna meeting with herself in the past. And to distinguish clearly from the dancers who wore Madonna's iconic costumes at the end of 'bitch i'm madonna' performace, Madonna's ghosts in the past had to wear plastic masks on their faces.
Most fans often mention recreating the BAT Tour's Like a Virgin scene. But for me, the most moving scene was when past Madonna appeared in a human nature music video's costume and save herself.  It was none but herself that saved her when she was criticized by the world. How hard and lonely she must have been, I could feel her pain and loneliness in that short scene and shed tears when she danced with herself in the past while singing Crazy for You to her past ghost.

    4. A feast of fantastic lighting!
Close-up videos taken up close do not show how beautiful the lights are. If you want to feel it, you have to watch a video from a distance. She looks like she made a wall of lights out of lights, and the flashy lights make the audience feel as if they were swimming in a beautiful sea.

    5. She made a real COMEBACK.
The Queen of pop is BACK! Considering Madonna's past few years of her terrible worst moments, we can call this is a her real comeback. I watched her Madame X tour video just once and threw it into the corner. It was painful to watch and I didn't even bother to look at the Madame X tour video again. But this tour is different. Made me watch her tour videos over and over again. This proves how successful this tour is.
There is so much more to share but i will write about it later.

lol I personally love HOT - the pride performance was EVERYTHING.
But, the tour, my thoughts are it was classy up to that point. Then we have T going 'you're probably getting fucked' lol - classic Madonna yes lol - and then we go classy after that with a beautify rendition of bad girl - so thematically yes it does go there, but stylistically maybe not.

Just for the sake of balance in this thread, I paid the $10, had a joke at the expense of Niki Harris, and yet I still thoroughly enjoyed participating live. It was a privilege to have the opportunity to see these people reunited on camera for our viewing pleasure after 30 years, and I’m not really sure how anyone can argue against the value of that if you are indeed invested and fascinated enough by Madonna and her journey to participate in discussions about her on a forum. That is a fully conscious observation, and my participation was not just voluntary, but enthusiastically so! I’ve often wondered why we don’t have more opportunities for this type of content given how voracious fans can be, but reading this thread is a reminder of why the Madonna fan experience is a mostly solitary and private one. There’s so little solidarity in this community. Infinity is really a last bastion of some form of regular interaction for fans that is focused, honest and celebratory, but there’s still always the need for what comes across as contrarianism. I can only imagine this comes from some personal imbalance and dissatisfaction…while it’s one thing to seek objectivity about Madonna and anything related to her career, it’s entirely another to just want to shit on other people’s experience. The idea that anyone would insinuate that those of us who participated in this reunion are victims of a scam or lacking taste because we aren’t critical of the MLVC podcast and its content says more about you than us. If you can do better, go ahead! We will gladly come along for the ride. It’s easy to dismiss or criticize as a spectator, but when we dislike something and feel it isn’t up to our standards, that’s a clear invitation to use that energy more constructively.
