I'm a huge ABBA fan, but I can't connect (in my head) that part with their music. Maybe the drums (during that part) made you think of ABBA's style.

OMG! I can't wait for this album. This March is gonna be the hardest month in my life. M's album, Ace of Base "Hidden Gems" album and Bananarama's "Megarama" reissue. Oops, I already feel broken ;-) But it's all worth it because music is my life! Yeah!!!

How will they make money from fans willint to spend money on 23 slighty different editions? (no shade to those fans). This whole thing makes me want to buy only 1 version to compensate for that. lol
 
What Madonna fan needs a clean version of one of her albums? Thank God Erotica didn't come out in 2015 under Interscope... they would've given you a blank CD.

But it comes from latin. It means "curvature, curve, bend" ;-)

She should have mixed and mastered all the tracks she recorded, various versions and put them on Itunes so people would make their own album BUT even then people would still be bitching anyway.
 
One's trash is others treasure. We probably all don't agree on what are Madonna's best songs and albums because her catalog is so rich and varied and we all love her for different reasons so all these infos are subjective until we get the album and can make our own subjective opinion on it.

If it's all gonna end up like this then why does she engage DJs/producers who are popular these days. It's obvious that all the songs created by i.e. Avicii are gonna sound more or less similar. Putting tweaked-acoustic version of the song on the album isn't that innovative. "American Life" LP was full of such songs.

I don't understand why "Rebel Heart" (the song) has been changed. The demo that leaked sounds great. It sounds like finished project. Is the Avicii's health issues the real problem of the change? RH and WAOM only needed mastering to fit the overall quality of the album. His presence in that stage wasn't necessary (IMHO; I don't know how it works in music industry).

I've always said that I preferred that version. It's more "classic dance" and less electronic.

Can any of the reliable sources give a hint about the fate of the "Borrowed Time" track? I mean - is there a chance that this great tune would be included on the album or has it already been classified as an outtake/leftover? Please...

I swear to God that I wasn't expecting anything interesting from Madonna this time since the work on the new album has been announced. Collaboration with Avicii and others didn't excite me at all. I was like... there's Avicii everywhere nowadays, there's Guetta, Nicki Minaj everywhere. Everything that is being played on radio stations sounds almost the same. And so I was little sceptic and afraid at the same time about the new material. I thought that there was gonna be no more than 10% of Madonna in the new project. But after listening to the demos I'm just amazed! There are so many great tracks at their "demo" stage that could make at least 1 album already! Very emotional ballads (Heartbreak City, Ghosttown, Messiah, Joan of Arc), catchy dance tunes (Living for love, Rebel Heart, Addicted) and my very favorite "Borrowed Time". I understand that Madonna was very upset when all that stuff leaked. Maybe some stuff that wasn't meant to be included on the album was going to be added as b-sides for the single releases. But on the other hand - there's a chance that we wouldn't even have known about many gems recorded for the album and not included on the official release if the leaks didn't happen. I expect one of the most iconic Madonna's albums with this material. Can't wait for the release of the album and some amazing promotion + iconic videoclips :-)

I'm with you. I also prefer "Devil pray" and "Living for love" in their demo state to the official versions. These demos have better song structure and... I just don't know how to describe it... I love them. I know it may sound not right, but I thank God for letting us hear the demos. Amazing material.
