Weird why? Many fans have said that for years. And I've wanted a serious debate about that with real fans.

    No.
As for this 'hating of her old songs' thing, I think fans take it all way too literally. First, she's not the only artist to feel that way about old songs. And two, she moved beyond that period where she really wasn't interested (around ROL). If she truly hated it all, she wouldn't do old songs in her tours, and they would probably be very different shows. She would have never done anything like Tears of a Clown. Or even Re-Invention. Clearly, she likes some songs better than others. And she's said multiple times that certain songs are just of a certain time that she feels silly just pulling them out without doing something to make them reflective and who/where she is today. I respect that, and it's given us some of her best live tour moments (that very few of her peers/followers even bother to attempt...or could).
As for remasters, box sets, anniversary re-issues, etc...yeah, we'd all love it. But clearly she's not interested in milking that part of her career...yet. She probably feels that stuff can be done later, and I don't blame her (though I'd love it now just as much as any fan). Personally, I think it would make sense to start doing those things into her mid-to-later 70s, probably once large-scale touring finally stops, and she moves on to other creative endeavors/life/etc. As for now, she's a contemporary artist working 'in the now' (as she always has), and she sees herself that way. I don't see that changing for at least a good ten more years or so.
That being said, around the time of the biopic release, it may be a good time to do a 'legacy' era of some sort.

Tbh I've always been bothered by how much hate this album received (and still receives even to this day) in terms of its production. While I personally dislike some of the lyrics including all of Spanish Lesson and the bridges on Give It 2 Me and Heartbeat, I think that the production value on Hard Candy is top notch, and it irks me when people diss Timbaland and Pharrell even though they did their best.
That said, I'm still disappointed over the fact that Animal and Across the Sky didn't make the album, and Ring My Bell deserved a spot on the standard version as well. I personally can't stand Spanish Lesson however, and She's Not Me and Incredible should've been 2 minutes shorter each imo. Other than that, the album is great.

Guys! The LAP cover used for the digital platforms was already used on the reissue of the single for Germany in 1995. @Prayer @New_Boy

Omg yes i just saw that. Stay and Pretender also sound better, I’m so happy about it!
so now what needs to be corrected:
On the Madonna album (reissue and original): correct Holiday version.
On the Madonna album (only the reissue): correct Borderline version, Physical Attraction in HQ. Burning Up 12" Version can also sound better.
On the True Blue album: correct Papa Don’t Preach version and White Heat in HQ.
On the Immaculate Collection: correct Lucky Star and Borderline versions.

Judging by the differences in cost, (hopefully) Fever will have 8/9 mixes. 6 from the UK CD single and 3 or 4 commercially released mixes (Oscar G's Dope Dub, Murk Radio Edit, Edit One???). The other option would be they're using the US 'Bad Girl' track listing which would mean the Edit and Extended Mix of BG would be included, but seems highly unlikely.
LDLHA... Possibly 7/8 mixes? Commercially, only 4 mixes were released, (Soulpower Mix, Album Remix and edits of said mixes) I wonder if the promo-only mixes (3 UK, 5 US) will be included? If so, it's a good sign of them dipping into the vault for these releases.

Curtains reacted to Voguerista in The Top Three Madonna Albums That Best Represents Her and Her Career
Hi Hi. Question: If you were to name THREE of Madonna's albums (excluding her greatest hits) that best represent her and her career as a whole at this time, which would you choose and why? (If you can't stop at three, you can name more)
I would choose Like A Prayer (for the emotion, the controversy, and religious aspect), Ray Of Light (for the complete mix up from her previous albums, the spiritual and life journey, and the experimental sound. Also, for her beauty and creative Geisha style), and Confessions On A Dancefloor (for the full on dance album and for the dancer she is).

I understand people’s love for the Avicii demos—they’re absolute early 2010s EDM bangers. But honestly, they sound very Avicii and not very Madonna... It makes sense to me why the album versions are what they are. They definitely have more of the Madonna touch/sensibility, if you know what I mean.

I must say the discussion in this thread is absolutely facsinating. One of the most interesting read i had in a Madonna forum. I don't know by what miracle, but finally fans can express their feeling withoit being labelled as "Haters", "Agist" and other names. I've been dreaming for ages to see such an interesting discussion about Madonna without names calling. Bravo ! And i must mention @steady75, man, your description of what's happening with M lately is absolutely spot on. Thank you for the interesting read.
