I'm pretty Beyonce was the one to beat her in touring. She technically did surpass Madonna's Sticky and Sweet first. Bey just got lazy and ended her tour after 56 stops. Records by artists right now doesn't set any legacy standards since one record can be beaten in a few years. Its the same with movies. Madonna held a lot of her records for decades.

What 2 Madonna album pairing sounds the best when played immediately after the other? I love to listen to something to remember album followed by Ray of light album. Such a smooth ride and journey. Especially I want you orcestral going right into drowned world. The best! 😭
 
Also second place for me would be Music album played before American Life because they are so sonically similar to me.

I think a lot of people feel that way.  But I think in the girl's case this is typical teenage angst.  Also, they are getting to that age, that they are seeking independence, and if anyone remembers when they were that age, none of us were really keen taking pictures with our parents.

I think the mastering or production on HC is hit or miss. Voices is beautiful and yet harsh in compression. AL is just sharp and MDNA is metallic. I don’t think any of her albums are awful but they’re never quite the same so it creates so many opinions and reactions.

And if I’ve heard other classic songs I couldn’t tell you. It was usually the above that caught me off guard and so they were memorable.

I don't listen to the radio at all but everywhere I go I hear Madonna in bars, shopping centres, street corners...
Holiday, Material Girl, Like a Prayer, Vogue, Rescue Me, Don't Tell Me... Sometimes more obscure songs like Sooner or Later or Don't Stop. That's when you know there's a gay working there.
