Even though I love American Life, HC would have SMASHED in '02/'03. 
Bizarre that "Beat Goes On" wasn't a single. Followed by many bizarre single choices over the next few years. 
I often wonder what her career would look like now had she gone with her original title/cover concept. One of one moments I was grateful to Guy O.
My Mom's favorite M track of the last 15 years is "Candy Shop". Always tickles me. 
CRIMINAL that "Latte" and "Across The Sky" were chopped. The latter could have been mashed up with "The Look of Love".
This was also the last album with officially released mixes from Peter Rauhofer, right? Still can't believe his mix of NRM was never performed live.

Her gram isn't my favorite. But it makes me wonder the shenanigans we would have been treated to had social media existed back in the day. Also how she would have reacted to criticism in that form, back then. We'll never know. She's always been weird. There was just a great song and visuals backing it up, then.
I still cant get over seeing the mass shooting segment from "God Control" being shown on her IG before the video premiered. I GASPED. A reaction I haven't had since the original "American Life" video. The impact was completely lost when I watched the full video. It felt like the whole BANG was wasted. Should have been a much bigger moment.
A little mystery is good for her. But that's for her to decide.

Not my favourite but definitely not her worst. Is there really a BAD album in her catalogue? I'd rather say weak instead compared to others.
I agree when they say it's like a "Justin Timberlake & Timbaland vs Pharrel Williams featuring vocals by guest star Madonna" record. It truly is  Despite the R&B infused energy in most songs you can still 'feel' there's Madonna underneath the whole thing: cheeky lyrics, Esther still preaching about Kabbalah, and her already coined classic motto tick tock tick tock tick tock.
It still bothers me how dull the Give It 2 Me video is since it really deserved a better concept. The performance at the promo gigs was so much fun... why rush it and release that crap Munro filmed? The late 2000s were really her weakest in terms of music videos. It's like Warner didn't even want to spend a cent on her... just look at Celebration 
And Miles Away? A wonderful track that deserved better promo. Sad she hasn't performed it live again.
I'm curious that she didn't do 4 Minutes at the Super Bowl. It fit perfectly!

I feel this way about "Get Together" and "Jump". 

Well to be very precise and correct the famous cone bra bustier from Jean Paul Gaultier premiered in France in 1985 on another celebrity. He made it for Catherine Ringer, the female singer of Rita Mitsuko, a famous french duet. He made the bustier for the video of their biggest hit "Marcia Baila". It's a huge classic from the 80's here in France.

The "Ray of Light" video actually made me shed a tear for the first time. I think it's the embodiment of what people will feel when this is over. It really is a masterpiece. The Dan O Rama videos for the remixes only get better as the years go on, too.
The Shep mixes of "Fever". Those horns.

I still think if this album had different singles it would be appreciated much more. Love Orbit's remixes. Would kill for Peter's mix of "I'm Addicted" in hq.

This is why I wanted "Illuminati" as a single. With Jonas directing a really fucked up video referencing several conspiracy theories. Culminating with M shedding her skin and revealing herself as a reptilian goddess. The kids get really worked up over this stuff.
