I remember when it came it it was pretty lost in the Christmas sales. I Remember buying it on both the UK CD's just because one was limited edition and maybe the 7" picture disc but it wasn't very exciting. It didn't get as much air play over here but it was shown a lot on MTV and VH1. I am surprised it didn't do better. It was all about the remixes at this point for me.

I think ROL seems like a logical first choice as it was so huge and regarded as her best work, it should bring in a lot of interest. Then moving onto the First Album. 

Personally, I think they'll announce a few re-issues at the same time to be staggered out over a few months. Possibly in tandem with a big tour announcement. I think it's also possible they'll make it into a bigger campaign than we've discussed so far. With the way they've been holding their cards close to their chests since the 2021 press release, I  get the feeling they've been lining their dominos up in a very neat row awaiting the right moment to kickstart everything.
My bets on the re-releases would be something like this.
2023 - Madonna + Ray of Light + Erotica
2024 - Like A Prayer + Bedtime Stories + Like A Virgin
2025 - True Blue + Music + Confessions

I think so too. Erotica is kind of a fan favourite era, the GP basically don't know those songs.

Instead you're going to get Remixed And Revisited, but remastered by Mike Dean 🤣

I want to agree, unless they decide to kick it off with ROL 25.  That's coming up in February, and Frozen will be celebrating its 25th anniversary late this month.  But we've been down this road with Erotica 30. 

You can hate all you want - but the cover was all Madonna - she chose the photo - the font - if you don't like it - instead of hating on Aldo - tweet Madonna ;)

For those who expected something more similar to what was in Madonna's stories (the 2014 instrumental with the 2019 vocals), here's a quick mix I've done myself that is similar to that. I'm one of the few who actually thinks the cover art looks cool.  I like the how the edges makes it like an aged 45 sleeve.  The look and the font make it further retro.
I was hesitant in believing it was going to be released today, but I'm glad it has been released now. Her team did jump on this in a timely manner.  I'm betting more mixes are coming our way in January.  I personally think the sped up and slow versions work for Tik Tok, being just a small clip of the song is used, but It just sounds ridiculous hearing it as a whole song.  But I get why it's been released.  This is exactly what the people want.  It's a smart move and it will definitely punch up her streaming numbers.  Another win for Madonna. 

I have a feeling that there's a high chance the Madonna (The First Album)-era singles will be released next year…

I grew up with Into The Groove being on all my copies of the album.
Found out the rest were all produced by Nile Rogers when the 2001 remaster was released.
Now Into The Groove sounds out of place.
Still, I'm hoping all the tracks will be in a future deluxe edition...

I really hope so, things we are missing like La Isla Bonita Single Mix, Open Your Heart, Dress You Up etc. Exciting to think Gamber is actually coming on Friday. 

I'm pretty sure Rhino finds out about releases from Madonna Infinity

If they do release Gambler on streaming, it gives me hope that more obscure singles and tracks will see a release at some point.
