It was MTV's choice, not his. Even more, he had no reason to feel insecure at that time in his career.  He was on top of the world at that time and his videos were huge success at the time.

So let's say you're meeting someone, would you rather have him SAY "You look better than your pictures!" or THINK "He looks worse than his pictures"? 😊 Think about it.

The only warning would be from the Mods or Fighter. 

But @emanoneven if I could get a flight, they would never let me into the country. So I don't think that would work, unfortately.

You guys, I'm sorry, I feel like this is somewhat my fault. Usually something always happens to leak when I'm visiting Tel Aviv. Call it a coincidence, destiny or just the rules of the universe - who knows. The Ray of Light assembly CD leaked when I was there, the Erotica demos leaked when I was there, and that early years tape leaked when I was SUPPOSED to be there earlier this year...
As soon as it's safe to travel to travel to Tel Aviv again, I'll book a trip there, and then it's just a matter of patience ?

It was the emergency back up show for HBO so I always wondered the same. Maybe they looked at the footage after and said "We need to fix these angles for HBO".

I know exacly how you feel. 
I've faced court years ago, for piracy. Because otehr people were selling fan made stuff I did and shared for free. 
My mistake was that I use to tag everything, and it was for the tag that I almost paid for it. 

I stopped doing things for years, traumatized. I recently got back sharing a few old stuff and some of the new, but I learned that I won't get any more credit than the other fans that know me could give. 
I avoid tagging things, because if a problem comes they don't wanna know if you're the one selling it or not. 
 

so? just do what you love. realize you've done such a great job to the fact someone is willing to sell them. it's not like you owned these videos anyway. someone else would have done it (and others are) if you didn't. given up only lets them win.

That's just so sad. I'm so sorry. 

Profiting off of someone's hard work is so wrong. Unfortunately it's a legal slippery slope because it's not your original work,it's a remastering of copyrighted material. I'm so sorry this happened to you and it's a shame that somebody is sick enough to do that to you,especially if you weren't credited.
