I have never been wild about this song, but, this is indeed a beautiful performance. I love her dark hair too.

In my opinion, an EP is a "mini-album". I mean, an album with no more of six different tracks (years ago it was a 10-inch vinyl)

EP = Extended Play, usually no more then 8 tracks.
LP = Long Play, more then 9 tracks traditionally becomes an Album.

It benefits her streaming visibility and increases her audiences. It’s not all about “new fans.”
Not everyone listens to music by popping in a cd....

I'm curious to see what they upload for the 80's singles, if they are ever done. Seeing how they mess up the files here and there, I wouldn't be that confident

    Yeah people don’t realise.
between 82-92  Madonna released 61* songs & b sides up to before Erotica
between 92-02 Madonna released 62* songs not including Evita
betqeen 02-12 Madonna released 46* songs up to before MDNA
between 12 -19 Madonna released 59* songs into the world including features
And there’s still two more years before this decade of her career  is out.
    *Or there abouts.
Plus loads of leaks in the last decade. In our minds she’s released way less but the truth is the output is still the same if not more in terms of content for the fans. It’s just the quality, promo and visibility that have declined.

The movie will no doubt be her story up to Blond Ambition at Wembley which is one of her most famous shows of all time.
    How do I know this?
She’s talking about the Express Yourself outfit from Blond Ambition and Vogue was added to streaming sites yesterday.

We will finally get the Blond Ambition Blu Ray once the movie is released.
    The promo all links up.

    Fingers crossed.

I also feel like the crux of this movie will be more about her mother than pure ambition and the obvious story.

Diablo Cody wrote the book for Jagged Little Pill musical. Now, as some of you know, I happen to be a musical theatre fan and also an amateur performer, director and writer, and also a great fan of Alanis since the day she signed with Maverick. So I was very excited about the project. The full show was leaked on Youtube last week (it has now been deleted), but I have to say I was a little disappointed by the plot. It's not not the best jukebox musical, it's definitely no Mamma mia. It's a bad copy of Next to normal. Some songs are great, other are forced in the plot, other forced the plot.
Still I think there is a chance that M and Cody are not working on a screenplay but on a book for a musical, maybe a bio-musical like The Cher Show. In this case M would arrive late to the party, after Cher, Carole King, Donna Summer, Tina Turner. Yet her story could be very exciting and it would also give her and Warner a reason to promote her back catalogue. Let's hope M and her freak ideas don't take over!

    So a biopic ...
    of her life...
    with songs from her career....
    I smell a soundtrack....
    I smell .....

    a Greatest Hits Collection....

with a twist. It’s entirely possible that the biopic will feature some of M’s biggest hits...but it’s also very likely that she will chose to use personal favourites and more autobiographical songs from her own catalogue to illustrate certain scenes or moods.
We could end up with an entirely unique one of best of Madonna that doesn’t just include the “hits”.
This will be an interesting project on more than one level.
Avicci Heart...it’s your time to shine ❤️

Sorry, but a biopic is not a good idea for me. despite both biographies
    1.) bohemian rhapsody 2.) rocketman
have won Oscars - they were (very) easily forgotten
When I see Angela Bassett and I remember she played Tina Turner in a biopic - I am overwhelmed by an odd feeling.
Besides its a bit suspicious when you direct a movie about yourself - it might sound as self-reference delusion.
I have a feeling a biopic conveys greater credibility when someone else talks about you.

Remember when she visited her warehouse in LA a couple years ago and she was filming the Blond Ambition costumes and flipping through books that she saved throughout the years? I wonder if that was the start of all this screenplay business and she finally has everything gathered and organized.

I think she might have a lot of rough demos where she just sits with writers and a few performers, or just with Monty as those are pretty easy to record on the fly as jam sessions with mics, preamps, instruments and a laptop. In terms of actual studio recordings, I think they've been more careful about time, money and resources when booking out a studio with technicians and more performers, and especially after the Rebel Heart leaks, reducing the amount of people who would have access to those Pro Tools sessions.
I wouldn't imagine there are too many astounding unreleased tracks and demos, they're usualy quite underwhelming. The ones which really struck me were the Rick Nowels demos from what became Ray of Light (The Power of Goodbye, To Have and Not To Hold, Little Star and Like A Flower to illustrate). Those were nicely fleshed out and the vocal take on The Power of Goodbye is by far my favourite thing she's ever done.
Also, it's really a waste of time to record as many songs as you write per album because it gives you less time to really perfect what you need for a release in mind. Case in point is Rebel Heart - way too much and the result was a collection of songs that were all over the place.
