I think it's terribly overrated. Even in 1992 I wasn't very impressed and my opinion has not changed after all these years. Almost all songs sound the same and I get quite bored when listening from start to finish. It has a few great songs though.

Im very curious to see what everyone thinks about this album as a whole and which tracks you especially enjoy. For me Erotica is not only the greatest of Madonna's albums, but in the top ten records ever made my a pop artist. The word masterpiece is thrown around way too freely but this album really makes for such an incredible listening experience. Madonna is at her best here, utterly fearless and artistically controversial. Two of my favorite tracks are Erotica and Rain but I have a hard time picking any that I like best because the whole thing blends together so perfectly. Its the reissue that I am looking forward to more than any other.

Well. Maybe she's got some wonderful surprises in store for us, now that the reissue program is about to start. She is free to announce the first wave next Saturday...

Jesus Christ! I had not heard about that. I am a giant fan of the Floyd and having something like Pulse Concert in Blu Ray is a literal dream. I would give anything for Madonna's team to do something similar

So pink floyd have announced a 2 x blu ray set for 2022 and look at those extras

Well. "Soon" is a long time when it comes to Madonna. Remember when we were promised the HD-video of JML, and then it didn't drop until some ten months later?
I think we'll get THE announcement in early 2022, and then the release in March. And I think it'll be HUGE!
I'm sure they had everything mapped out and ready before the announcement. What the editions will look like, what bonustracks to include, what color the vinyls will have, what the inevitable mercahdise will look like. Down to the last button.
They probably worked on this project for years, and I believe everything, or alot, is ready for release. All they have to do now is wait for 2022, then just release them at a strategic pace. Three to four a year.
Madonna can't change her mind now. The papers have been signed and the money invested in this project. It will happen.

I would appreciate and love if they'd release every album in at the minimum of 5.1 surround sound. 3D Auro Disc would be nice!

I wonder what the likelihood of getting her old tours remastered on Blu-ray are? I know we're talking about Madonna and Warner here but if the right guy is in charge of the box sets then he might have been given permission to go all out. 
 
I think they should release different tiers of each album:
Standard LP remastered 
Double LP remastered with bonus tracks
Double CD remastered with bonus tracks 
Super limited box set with all of the above plus a DVD and Blu-ray of the coinciding tour and a double CD of live audio, posters, lyric book,  etc. 

I’m really hoping they’re gonna release Erotica for its 30th anniversary in October. And we’ll get Shame, Goodbye To Innocence and Love Hurts

They are slowly linking them as they did with True Blue 35 - I imagine a tidy up and linking songs will happen as part of the back catalogue reissues -  nobody was really looking after her catalogue well on streaming and digital platforms and the new deal means it will be addressed - also things like having correct versions on the albums etc 

I have the Burning Up 7" from the Netherlands who announces the forthcoming album "Lucky Star". Although the real cover is much more iconic, I'd love if the original title had been kept!

I knew something was brewing. So grateful ?  Can't wait to see what's in store.

Medelaine does have a Madonna phsyicality and the bone structure is there but is this all based on the eye patch?
