Yeah, you know, I'm sure that for different reasons everyone of us has different feelings and preferences, maybe especially about the live experiences.
For me the Girlie Show is the best because I think she was able to brilliantly combine a kind of warmth, authenticity (something I would say about WTG and maybe part of RH) to such a sophisticated project, fully inspired by theatre and circus (MX was a missed opportunity about that). I think of the intro for example or tracks like Why's it so Hard, I'm going banans/La Isla Bonita, Rain, Like a Virgin, Justify My Love. She also made very brave and effective choices (10, 11 minutes long tracks, like Holiday or Everybody, the Indian coreo and arrangement of a house song like Vogue, the Unrat waltz version of Like a Virgin or The Rain Dance are excellent examples). The sceneries and the theatrics were all essential, elegant and dark and the D&G costumes were certainly less iconic than Gaultier's, but so beautiful for me (I mean, the whole 70s patchwork wardrobe, the Victorian dresses and the maritime tshirt with the frak trousers). 
Musically she litterally reinvented the sound of the album, an amazing work (especially with Erotica, Fever, Rain and Why's it so hard), she went back to a more live, rough sound (BA was closer to the kind of sound she choose from the DWT on imo), she cited and perfectly integrated a loooot of material I love (from Marvin Gaye, to the Temptations, from Sly and the Family Stone to Marlene) and gave a lot of well deserved space to NIcky and Donna vocally. I adore BA, but I think it's colder and the incredible level of the first number, the whole second act and the finale is not always mantained during the show, (there are some weak numbers for me, like Now I'm following you, Material girl, Cherish, Causing a commotion, even Into the groove is not that much). The only track I find boring from the Girlie Show is In this life, and yet it's got a strong message. As I told in the beginning, I think it's just a matter of preferences. Said that, BA is absolutely amazing and surely her most iconic tour 

Her best era, a huge mediatic phenomenon (I don't remember anything else like this), such a brave and significant statement, one of her most inspired and experimental records (house, soul, hip hop, raggae, disco and jazz all so cohesively blended: my absolute favourite), with ROL her most interesting visuals and looks and, MOST OF ALL, HER BEST TOUR EVER.

Since some of you liked my This Used To Be My Playground drumless version in another thread, here are In This Life drumless and Take A Bow drumless & bassless.
I used an AI software to make them, i don't have it anymore and they are the only ones i have kept. Until someday someone shares the stem for both tracks that's the closest we'll get to have orchestral versions. I love the Suzie Katayama strings on Take A Bow. That song was never a favourite of mine but stripped of most of its 90's RnB elements it sounds like a gorgeous lullaby, almost asian. On In This Life, removing the repetive drums in the back (same as in This Used To Be My Playground) it makes the Gershwin progression more obvious and it gives more space to the New York philarmonic string and brass arrangements.

I don’t get the hate it gets. Falling Free, Beautiful Killer, Masterpiece, Love Spent, Gang Bang, Girl Gone Wild and I’m Addicted are far better than anything I hear nowadays. She just marketed the record in the wrong way and made two of the worst songs singles.

Long gaps of nothing, late releases of concerts, complete neglect to her legacy and the anniversaries of her iconic works (or disgraceful ways to celebrate them with cheap-looking t-shirts and merch), no appearances unless there’s an album to promote, no worthwhile content on social media, no proper and accessible releases of her past tours, and no real ways to celebrate her career and incentivize people to check her out.
A self-destructive strategy is exactly what it is. They’re ruining her career (and she is too) and her irrelevancy isn’t caused by sexism and ageism is she claims. They are both a factor but it’s her horrendous management and late hopping on cheap trends and relying on names to sell below average songs that is doing the biggest harm. 

It's the first time that I'm not excited for a tour, or the DVD... also the waiting between projects is always endless, and not interesting. 

Erotica is arguably her most personal, rawest, and most ambitious album and era to date. Truly iconic. 

LYRICS
I'd love an adult album with adult lyrics. I suggested on her IG that she turned her quarantine diaries into songs. MX lyrics were so annoyingly repetitive, even verses were repeated. Looking for, looking for, looking for verses... 
GENRE
Some good old school Pop would do for me... like RH was supposed to be before its production was destroyed being reworked so many times and always choosing the wrong arrangement.
Dance is ok but I can't see her dancing on tour.. but probably she needs to redesign her tour concept anyway.
PRODUCTION
I think Mirwais has used all his palette and no more new ideas can come from him. Also if Mirwais means so much autotune, please ban him forever.
My biggest wishes are that they let us hear her clear voice, not trying to make her sound young like they did with MX album, no rappers, no featurings. It's pretty evident by now that young people won't buy her album, but just her old diehard fans, so it makes no sense to try and please a younger audience. Many mentioned Dua Lipa but the problem in MX came with trying to make her sound like that, while she has a totally different voice!!
MUSICIANS
I'd love real musicians as in Like a prayer album. Impossible, I know. Guy Pratt just shared his LAP bass secrets on his channel and he is amazing:
 
I'd really love to have Pat Leonard back on production and musical direction too. I just rewatched Holiday live in Turin and cried. But after MX I lost all my hopes we'll ever get rud of that fake sound...
I just saw this JT video and this is how I'd love her tour would be. Some sounds are from the original recording, but also a great amount of live musicians that produce a powerful sound. A lot of backup singers that help Justin - he basically only sings half of the songs, and can do a lot of dancing without pretending he is singing, which would be impossible. The result is incredible:

It would be cool having a orchestral GH just like Sophie Ellis-Bextor recently did, Kylie also did it. Some good songs (not just the hit singles) going full dramatic orchestral madness.

She keeps selling Immaculate Collection all the time!. she must do something simmilar (Celebration isn't closer, not remastered indeed!). A new remixed edits can help like she did with IC. A collab with a real pop Diva for a new single will help loads.
... AND.., SHE MUST START TO MAKE HER DELUXE REMASTERED ALBUM EDITIONS (and BOX SETS) like every artist was doing it ! Nothing GREAT from the past! Every artist make Great Box Sets. She never celebrated 20, 25, 30, 35 years anniversaries FOR HER CAREER OR ALBUM and remasters are INEDITS (except for the firts 3 albums in 2001, and nothing brilliant with them)...
She had loads of hits, loads of demos, loads of released and unrelesed mixes, loads of photoshoots for Great Box Set ARTWORKS for EVERY ALBUM !...and Nothing...!

That's what happens when you're going to shows to talk about Obama or IG posts instead of showing a preview of your album by performing.
