for what it's worth: guy certainly gave his creative input during the recording sessions for ROL, as stated by madonna herself. this might have changed for the albums that followed, although i don't see why it would have.

I think someway he is very similar to Madonna. If you look at his IG, with all the pictures taken with celebrities since he was a teen, you see someone who wanted to be rich and powerful and succeeded with his force of will. He reminds me of her.
We will never know if he is behind many bad choices in the past 15 years or if it's Madonna's fault. Definitely he is responsible for not stopping her or forcing her in the right direction.

ya, a gentle pitch and volume correction would do the trick but the mixing of off key live vocals and studio vocals is just stupid and sounds so fkn amateurish. No idea who makes these dumb decisions i her team.

No, the bad reputation started with Eurovision. Maybe her worst perfomance.
I loved the concept of Madame X, but after Eurovision, in my opinion, the "Madame X" era was a mess.

I am not immune compromised so I know that if I catch the virus there is a good chance that I will be fine, but not everything revolves around me. I can still catch the virus and spread it to other people. Who cares if grampa dies? Or the neighbour's 10 year-old kid with cancer? As long as I can go out and be "free".

I think she’s only really concerned with  creating stuff that her kids and her boyfriend approve of. She pretends not to need approval but deep down she wants to appeal to a market many years younger than she is so her kids are a natural springboard of opinions for that.

I don't think so at all. It could be Gaga-related very well. Madonna seemed to be a bit bothered with it all and it would be a good reason to give up on the project (whatever it was).

apparently, warner brothers and madonna were disappointed that COADF only did "well" in the US and therefore wanted to make something more contemporary sounding. thus, hard candy happened and stuart didn't feel it was a sound that suited madonna (and she was already late to hop onto that train). creative disagreements.

I love that woman more than some of my own damn family but let’s cut the bullshit. When I, someone who has eaten up every second of time the woman has projected into the world, watch that video and think “who is this and where is the woman I fell in love with” somethings off.
There have been a few genuinely great social media post from Madonna in the last ten years but her hit rate amongst the awful post is not good. Social media is the worst thing that ever happened to her career. I genuinely considered unfollowing her. How is that? 
I routinely stay away from commenting about her looks but my god she has genuinely fucked her face up. It’s her business and I have no right to comment. Have work done, but keep it cute sis. She looks like an unnatural alien in that video.
