How is that possible? That means they didn't have the DAT and didn't do a transfer themselves but had the exact same file as you? I mean everytime you do a transfer you cannot have the exact same result, can you? 

It's a tape format but with digital content. If you do a little bit of research, you'll find good explanations:

Possible. All the rips I came across had the faded album version. 
As for the 7''version (with or without fade) its true that the intro is cut and starts more abruptly than the album version. 
And be careful of the immaculate DVD video version which is a mix of album and 7''mix.

I’d like to see the Rusty Egan remixes released on an “Everybody” digital EP. Also, I’d be happy if the Daniel Abraham remix of “Bye Bye Baby” was released; I’m 99% sure it’s the basis of The Girlie Show live version.

Mylene farmer might be famous only in France but she's often referred as the French Madonna. I don't really see why though... But she has a pretty cool discography too which is pretty normal when you sing for more than 30 years.

Maybe that is true, there were only one or two shots that felt like upscales to me though. The biggest giveaway for me normally is faces from a distance, and they weren't messy blobs in this, and even the best AI upscale has issues with faces that are at a distance.

So just for you Angelman60  I've run another pass of this and added it to the folder. The software used is RX Izotope advanced 8 which gives a vocal acapella track, a percussion track, a bass track and an other instruments track. I then use Adobe Audition to put it back together again.
This extra version keeps the original cassette madonna vocals, including the pitch shifted eeoooeehh bits, replaces the Cathy and Ozzy vocal parts from CD, keeps the original cassette "other instruments", replaces the bass and percussion with CD. Overall this still sounds better than the untouched cassette rip.

To disguise the Madonna vocal, I think Hurley added more of the vocoder type effect so the Kim version it’s more tweaked.
 
edit; I should add that the algorithms that separates the vocals from the other elements in the track handled that part differently for the two versions. In Madonna’s it’s lifted with her main vocal, with Kim’s it’s left in the back track, partly why it’s left on my remake.

I have both... the vinyl is cheap and poorly mastered too and has the same “ess” sounds on her vocals. 
 
I preferred the sound off my cassette rip which was taken from a Nakamichi cassette deck 1.5 so very high end equipment.

So we know in 1992 Madonna refused permission to Was (Not Was) to release her unused 1982 vocals on the remix track "Shake Your Head (Lets Go To Bed)", so the remixes by Steve Silk Hurley had to be remade with Kim Basinger vocals. The full 12" remix with Madonna vocals was issued by error on "Now Dance 93" on vinyl and cassette only (these have quite poor sound), and the Madonna Dub was put on the CD "Somewhere in America there's a street named after my dad". The Kim Basinger version was then put out as the 12" remix and also had two official edits; the 3.45 "Single Remix" on the CD of "Now Dance 93", and just to really confuse everyone a different longer 4.00 edit on "Now 23"!!
In the folder there's all the official Madonna and Kim Basinger Versions, plus I removed Kim Basinger off the Now 23 edit and Single Remix to create Madonna and Ozzy versions, plus a solo Madonna Single Version. I also remade the 12" Remix with a CD rip removing Kim's vocals and overdubbing Madonna's vocals from my cassette rip. I'm really pleased with that one, at last it has a more pristine sound instead of crappy analogue rip quality. 
So to avoid confusion they're all well labelled!

Are you guys sure they used the celebration dvd as a source? To me it seems impossible to improve such a level of details even with AI. 
They must have maybe the same master but I'm pretty sure they didn't use the DVD rip as main source
