I feel like instead of calling the topic '5 things Madonna did you didn’t care for' you should have just called it 'I want to tell everyone here about 5 things Madonna did  that I didn’t care for' 
 

Madonna turns 65 in just a few hours... a very special birthday considering what happened just a few weeks ago and that she's celebrating 40 years in the music business this year.
She's still here, she's still rocking (enjoying her first worldwide hit in more than a decade at 64/65 with "Popular" and about to start her new tour) and that's pretty much a good reason to be happy and celebrate her.
So let's get the celebration started! Some media already did today, a day earlier:

Paradise and Easy Ride, I would take over any Madonna hit. The two best tracks she has ever recorded. 
Period

Music, MX and American Life are her most interesting and daring (musically) and satisfying albums in my opinion. I would prefer her making another collaborative effort with Mirwais than anyone else. I guess we disagree, and that’s ok. I hope after the Celebration Tour Weirdonna returns. Having said that if she decides on giving us another Rebel Heart I wouldn’t mind that at all. But honestly I am not so keen on another Confessions type of album though it was a hit. It’s the era that I’m the least drawn to.

I've had record players for almost 40 years. I can't live without my music and the possibility to listen to them.
Now I used to not play new vinyl, cause I didn't want my records to lose any value, but then I realized something:
There's noone in my family who's as passionate about music as I am, and chances are than they might sell my records when it my time to go.
Now what's the point in buying all those expensive records and then not listen to them?
So now I do listen to them, and I enjoy them.

Well, I spoke too soon. Ticketmaster resales are abysmally high for Oct 14th, but I said eff it and bought a single ticket anyways. Paid for itself with the Vancouver refund I'll be getting.
SO excited! Never been to London before! This is going to be such a special evening after everything that's happened.

Great news. So happy for her, I hope she's improving everyday. One insider told me the removed ass was implanted to Julia Garner so by the time the movie is shoot she will portray current M. Just kidding. I hope everyone gets to see her.

Well we never thought we would see her again in the UK Top 20 or charting on the Billboard Hot 100 and here we are with "Popular". Plus her reaching 40M monthly listeners on Spotify, etc. etc.
A #1 worldwide smash is highly unlikely but ultimately life is a mystery (and payola and hardcore promo always a way xd).

Sorry but I don't see it that way. While I get why different versions of the same song count as one for the charts - cause they're meant to reflect the most popular songs of that week - I don't think it applies at all to public stream figures on Spotify or YouTube. A single version (when it's an edit and/or single mix) and an album version are simply not the same version, and shouldn't be treated as such.
I'm up for merging streams when it's the obvious same version, like "Like A Prayer" on the parent album and "Celebration", but definitely not for edits + album versions + extended remixes, etc. Makes no sense at all to me. Also, it's fun checking which versions perform better, etc.

I understand and share that feeling in a way but let's be happy, this is the best that could happen to her at this point.
I'm not mad about "Popular" (like it but that's it) but still if it's a Top 40-Top 20-Top 10 hit, we all win.

I have ventured into this new world and I must say that it fascinates me a lot. It's not easy trying to find a song that fits well with the artificial voice. Not all songs are good and you have to work on pitch and key. I hope it turned out well. What do you think?
